Plasma Donation Day!!
I’m AB+ blood type which makes me the most selfish blood type, as in I can only give my blood to my own type, but I can receive blood from everyone! RUDE!! But it’s not all bad news…
My plasma is a lot nicer though… my plasma is good for everyone. 😍

But what is plasma?
Plasma’s the yellowish liquid part of your blood that holds all the other blood cells. It’s used in a whopping 18 different life-giving ways.

Why give plasma instead of blood?
When you give a blood donation, it contains some plasma. But, when you donate just plasma, you give about twice as much. That’s more plasma to help more people!

Donate!
It’s called ‘apheresis’, and it’s pretty straightforward. While you’re resting in a comfortable chair, a special machine draws blood from your arm. The machine separates the blood out to collect the plasma. It’s a yellowish colour because your red cells, which make your blood red, are returned to you during the donation.

If you have AB blood type definitely consider donating plasma 😊

Kids Asleep, Parents Retreat is a mobile massage business designed for busy parents. Appointments start at 8pm (hopefully once your kids are asleep). I only go to one house a night, so it is a minimum of a 2 hour treatment. And if I’m treating both parents, I do one after the other, not only because there is only one of me… but also so there is one parent available to attend to the kids if they need.

We’ve met the GST Threshold!

So what does that mean? Firstly it means that Crinum Spa Retreat and Kids Asleep, Parents Retreat have been succeeding miles faster than I could of possibly imagined in my wildest dreams. And for that I am ever so grateful to my wonderful clients.

I LOVE YOU GUYS!

It also means that GST will have to be added to my treatments from the 1st of June.

I have been working on both of my menus so that they are still reasonable and make sense. Some prices have gone up by just over 10%, some are dead on 10% and others I have absorbed the entire amount of the GST in the current price.

I want to make it clear that I had no intentions of raising prices anytime soon, however, “In this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes.”
