Warm greetings to my followers, art friends and viewers. Recently I made a step in a direction that will mean I won’t have energy to also maintain my page here. To step up to marketing, targeting audiences etc will mean my life will be consumed by something I don’t want.

I so love painting and will still enjoy painting for itself whenever the inspiration leads me but I won’t be selling anymore and will be closing this page on Monday the 13th. I thank every one of you for supporting me through a very hard couple of years and for all your kindnesses and messages. May your art and love for art flourish. Thank you again.

I have been unwell so I haven’t been able to engage with my page followers the way I would like. Nevertheless, I am progressing well now and I hope to take up my paintbrushes very soon. Finally finished this after a rest spell. This is my climbing Rose, Pinkie. In season she throws herself over our chook pen and even in her diminishing stage, as here, she shows off in her dying. 61x46cm Acrylic.
