This page is to showcase my artwork. I'm currently studying Art Practice Ba Hons at University of Suffolk. I hope you like some of the artwork I am showcasing.
Collograph prints from yesterdays collograph printing session at The Bank in Eye Suffolk. Really enjoying the great textures created by this printing method.
Line drawing with sticks and black ink at todays exploring drawing with Melodie Cook. We had fun drawing with sticks with our undominant hand before being permitted to use our dominant hand. Quite a challenge but we managed it in the end.
Todays colourful final attempt at exploring drawing session. Thanks Melodie Cook for an enjoyable mornings work. Loving the lines made by sticks and bits.
New collograph plate. Looking forward to see how this prints out on Friday.
At last!!!! My birthday secret is out....Yes- it was rug making. Spent the day at Tufting London with Ashley. At a great day making this delightful little rug.
Just printed some collograph plates. Just love the way you get a surpise when you lift from under the printing rollers.
A lottle bit of colour added to yesterday's drawing.
My little penguin project made into a animation 😍
This little guy is coming along. Had some fun creating him, now to glaze and fire and hope he stays in one peice. # clayfun
Something a little different today at Melodie Cook's Exploring Drawing class. We had to make our own still life by making plants/flowers from paper then draw them. I also added a pair of scissors and my coffee cup to the composition for interest. Then used soft pastels. I was trying to make it flat and colourful with little perspective.
Just created a collograph plate...Now just need to het it sealed and printed. Can't wait to see the printing transformation when they go through a press in a couple of weeks time.
Coloured a collograph print with acrylic ink for a different vibe.
A little bit of abstract from a collage produced at Melodie Cook's Exploring Drawing class. A face within faces, something I may take further, or leave where it is. I love a bit of gluing and sticking. This little punk rocker is staying put atm.
Completed this colograph plate this week. Just got to be sealed and then printed. Can wait to see how the final outcome appears!
Had a go at creating a collograph plate today. Few more stages to go through before my plate gets printed, but had a great time creating this experimental trial run.
Different visions from original drawings completed at Melodie Cooks Exploring Drawing sessions this morning. Monoprinting was the exercise, also had some experimentation with original design
Latest collage completed using mixed media. Really enjoyed producing this by using fabrics, magazine cutouts, acrylic inks, posca pencils. Artwork by me using various scrap papers.
Part of a new collage, but not quite sure where I'm going with this. Excited to see where this takes me next!!
Starting something new today. Who knows what it may ( or not become).
Another little collage. Think I'll move onto something a little different now.
Vivien McGuiness and me at our graduation ceremony today. Well done to everyone that graduated at Bury St Edmunds Cathedral today.
Just defined the boot and added a little more colour.
A little bit of collage this morning at exploring drawing with Melodie Cook. May do a little more to this at home.
Just finished this little collage.
Exploring drawing with Melodie Cook. Exploring contours and lines today. Great relaxing creative morning.
Start of collage exploring buildings and what you may find inside them.
Just the start of an artwork. This may just be a background for a painting, who knows? Anyway, I always enjoy a bit of painting, gluing and sticking on a Sunday afternoon.
