Things are changing…🩷

If you hadn’t already guessed from the photo, I’m soon going to be rebranding my small business!! Here’s why… ✨

The name Textiles by Rachel was created over 4 years ago when I was studying textile design, and now that I feel like I have found my ✨niche✨ a little more in paper products & illustration, it’s time for a change to something that better represents me and what I love best! 🩷

So, what’s changing? Nothing really! You’ll see an update to my brand name & logos found here, on my shops and on my packaging when you order. These will change over the next couple of weeks whilst I get everything updated.

The main thing that’s changing is a shiny new website which is on its way, to accommodate all of the lovely newness I’m hoping to design & showcase my freelance portfolio!🎨

My shops will be turning to holiday mode for a short period to accommodate these updates, and everything will be updated really soon 🩷

Can’t wait to keep working on what I love and thanks for all your continued support on all of my platforms! ✨

From New home to New baby, birthday to engagement, I’m going to include as many occasions as possible! 🎉

From chatting to you at markets and online, different occasion specific cards rather than blank multi use cards has been much requested! I can’t wait to keep working on this new range (along with this new card shape!👀) and share the new designs as I go.

Some reasons why I love market days! 💕

• I love chatting to everyone who comes to visit! It’s lovely to be able to interact with customers and chat about my work which I don’t always get to do online 😊

• Seeing all of my products in one space! It’s rare that I see lots of products together at one time (I blame my lack of storage space!😂) so it’s nice to see everything on display ☺️

• I get to decorate and have fun with the layout of my stand 🥳 One of my favourite parts of the day is the setup, deciding what to put where and how to make it look pretty 💖

• I get to meet and chat to other small business owners! It’s always lovely to chat to the other stall holders and shop from other businesses on the day! ✨

Long time no post!!! I have had a bit of an unintentional break from posting anything creative recently, but I loved making these little autumn foliage pieces, hand painted and collaged by cutting and layering shapes in my sketchbook ✂️
