But whomever wrote them--I like them.

This is so true, but it is hard to see it when you are the one being belittled.

So, my best advice is to seek out truly great friends--those people who are kind and encouraging in all ways, always. True friends will celebrate you!

Throwback to one year ago today when we were slammed with snow! We broke a record with 12 inches in 24 hours! Of course last year was a record-breaking year.

This year…not so much. But it is in the forecast, so 🤞!

I’ve already run out of gas on his short but wet week.

Do you have a film version of a favorite book that you actually love? The Keira Knightley version of Pride & Prejudice (screenplay by Deborah Moggach) is a favorite of mine. (I can't believe it is coming up on a 20-year anniversary!)

My favorite blue is our pup and grandpup's eyes. They live on opposite sides of the country now, so they haven't seen each other in a couple of years, but they'll always be "me and mini-me" to . . . well, me. LOL

Yes, my husband said this to me the other day. With a completely straight face.

I feel the need to add that it HAS been his source of warmth and comfort for at least the THIRTY-FIVE years of our marriage. Because, yes, he does roll over and take all the covers with him.

If he tries to blame it on me throwing the covers off during hot flashes, don't believe it!
