Delicious Ethiopian dinner at Gursha Ethiopian Kitchen in Nairobi. Everything was flavorful & fresh without being too spicy! Communal eating, low seating & cool night made the perfect setting.

I love Farm-to-table restaurants. Cultivate, in Nairobi was fantastic! The decor, food & service was outstanding. Loved getting a garden tour & seeing their hydroponic garden.
A bit of labor to make these polenta parmesan flowers, but the taste was worth it! Potato gnocchi in garlic sauce with porcini mushrooms, grilled corn & polenta flowers was a dish to impress. corn. Thanks .sorrentino for the melt in your mouth gnocchi
We just found the BEST Matcha soft serve spot. Not pictured is the Toasted Matcha Soft Serve & Matcha Soft Serve. The buns were super light & airy. Matcha Yuzu shot was absolutely delicious & refreshing. Real Matcha sourced from Kyoto’s, Japan without any added colors or sugar.
Sad to see my parents off at the airport, but happy to have a picnic breakfast in Philly, followed by Rittenhouse Farmer’s Market & Chinatown for lychees

Can’t beat ghar ka khana for lunch. Love eating freshly made subzis - mogri, ker-sangri, tindsi with winter’s favorite bajri roti.
Super treat to have an authentic Karnataka thali, specially from Bangalore served on banana leaf. So many items - from pickles, curries, breads, rice with Sambhar, Rasam, curds. All vegetarian treat!
Tender green sorghum or Ponk
The temperature in Mumbai is in the mid-80s, but now is the season to eat winter foods like Ponk (tender green sorghum) and Bajri (millets). For breakfast I had my Nani’s@recipe of Bajri ka Khichada with milk & ghee. Evening snack was protein shake, strawberries & Ponk with spicy sev & green chutney.

Absolutely fantastic Tasting Menu at Indian Accent, Mumbai. We have eaten at the New York location & this one also was a treat to our taste buds. Too many to limit to one IG post.
Breakfast at Blue Tokai, Kulfi at Kapoor Sons, Chowpatty, lunch delivered by Swiggy from Swati Snacks & quick dinner at home before another night shift at the hospital. 🍹
Not quite Manhattan bagel, but this hit the spot after overnight duty at the hospital.

It’s the season for jinjara or green chickpeas in India. They come in their husk or shelled. Super tender, fresh & sweet. Delicious with onions, tomatoes, raw mango, cilantro, lime & chaat masala.

Mind blown by this Japanese-Mexican restaurant that packed a punch in every bite. Flavorful & tapas style - just the way I like it! The beet carpaccio with yuzu is forever in my taste bud memory bank!
