I’ve been in a loving relationship with Wella for as long as I have been hairdressing! Today is the first day of and I am feeling so deeply grateful for our gorgeous city and for all the life that it holds. For the last two weeks I have been lucky enough to be a part of the hair team with and creating looks in the most magical locations for a few of mffs digital runways.

There was a minute there where the world had me silenced, scared to speak and somewhat stuck in my own thoughts and contemplation of all that I was seeing unravel. There are many reasons that i now feel brave enough to step out and have my say once again but its mostly because of all the change that i see around me. I see it and I feel it. I have come to understand that the difficult times we have all faced and some still face, can not just be erased but perhaps if we look for change in our present lives, that will be the very thing that gives us hope for a better future. Being in the heart of MFF I am able to see evoloution all around me, in faces and bodies, in dialogue and conversation and in kindness towards others and self worth of individuals. What if the events of the last 12 months were not actually the world breaking down but in fact the world breaking through to a new and brighter beginning. For me, I choose to see things this way, I choose hope and love and light always and am so relieved to be once again looking towards an endless array of possibilities.
