In this short period of time in the NYSC camp, I have met people from diverse social backgrounds.

It brought tears to my eyes when I realised that people are not really who we think they are.

I had to go wash my food flask for dinner, then I discovered that the tap wasn't running and while I stood there, contemplating on what next to do, an elderly woman who was fetching water for the mosque called me and handed me a plate of water to use in washing my flask.

It was just a beautiful incident to me.😊

Prior to this, I was standing in SAED (Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development)class, due to unavailable seat, and this Hausa guy called me " sister, come and sit" as he adjusted for me.

Sigh.

These are people from different tribes and beliefs, yet it feels like we have known each other somehow.

It's indeed beautiful to really meet people before concluding based on just a mere story.

Indeed, the effect of a single story about an entire tribe is sad.

It's another day to remember that you CAN DO anything.

The mind is the greatest tool in a man. It's even greater than the tongue, because before the tongue speaks, the mind conceives.(Matthew 12:24).

The mind has the power to make or mar a man.
Proverbs 23:7 says "For as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he. The Power of the mind cannot be overemphasised.

Before a man fails or succeeds, the mind conceives it.

One of the greatest philosophers_ René Descartes said- "I think, therefore I am". In otherwords, you become what you think of yourself.

Negative thoughts births Negative results and vice versa.

If you think you are a failure, worthless, a nobody, your life is automatically programmed to bring those thoughts to reality.

No matter how one tries to cover his mind (thoughts) with words, the expression and gesture of that person will show only the condition or content of the mind.

For instance, you ask someone "how are you" as he says "I'm fine", but looking at him, you see tear drops in his eyes, that because that's the current condition of the mind.

When the mind is sad, angry, happy, etc, the body language of that person says it all.

Most persons have concluded that they are worthless of love, happiness, success etc, until you change that mindset you'll be nothing other than that.

But the good thing is, we can gain control of our mind (thought)
