Ma, Kain Tayo

Why "Ma, Kain Tayo"? My kids are my inspiration behind this. Eating is essential in our everyday lives! Ma, Kain Tayo means "Mom, Let's Eat" in our Filipino language.

When I used to live in the Philippines before migrating to America, I owned my own karinderya (mini convenient store), I cooked everything and sold it all day during the week. I cooked and sold a lot of Filipino street foods, drinks, or "meryenda" foods.

When I came to America in 2001, I couldn't have my own karinderya, but continued to provide catering to my fellow Filipinos!

Now, my kids and husband aren't the only ones eating my cooking, but those who order in the community!
