Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Fr. Harold is heartbroken about the violence accompanying protests in Haiti this week. I will send more pictures that he has shared soon, but for now, please pay attention when you see stories on this and pray for our friends and neighbors in Haiti.
As I understand it, the protests and violence are mostly on the main island, so our friends in Ti Palmiste are safe, but this is yet another critical point in Haiti's history. Like people all over the world, people in Haiti want leaders who represent them and care for their needs, and they are not currently getting it. That's the root of this violence.
Please pray for peace and prosperity in Haiti as we say thanks for our own peace and prosperity today. And let's work together to help them achieve it.
