Got some cool new stuff on the way, hang tight
Some renders of what will replace one of the transit cab offerings. ALW 80-ton Class C motor. A large boxmotor with stubby hoods. ALW will continue to update our freelance platforms to ensure modelers have options for built-to-order and shop built electric units for their rosters!
The transit cab 78-tonners are going to be discontinued and replaced with two new distinct designs. One of which is almost out of prototype phase. Expect photos later today.
ALW's new fireless is in prototyping phase. The new model had to be designed for an 0-6-0 mechanism that won't be discontinued 6 months after I release it. Bachmann's USRA 0-6-0 has been chosen. Due to the size difference between the USRA 0-6-0 and the HK Porter 0-6-0, the new prototype will be Heisler Fireless locomotives. Looking forward to releasing photos!
Got stacks!
ALW spark arrestors are available now!
Not going to lie, it was kinda difficult to take photos of these.
ALW's new Spark arrestors! will be available very soon in a variety of designs. inside diameter of 5mm.
I really cannot believe it has taken me 4 years to develop any steam detail parts...
New builders plates!
It's release day!

A new detail part completed from the CAD live-stream will be available soon! These radiators are found on a large portion of all Ingersoll-Rand Boxcabs that were built. They will look great on any early gas/diesel locomotive build you use them for!

ALW Cad & Chat #1 Today I ressurect my youtube channel by streaming CAD projects and discussing various subjects in model railroading.
Unfortunately I won't be in St Louis this time, but next year we will be ready with a bunch of new products!
It should be known I am aware the Bachmann Porter 0-6-0s are getting hard to find. While it will be some time before I can aquire a viable chassis for another small Porter or Davenport fireless, I am currently working on another fireless project that will fit on the more common USRA 0-6-0, albeit there will be a chassis component that will need to be swapped. My goal is to be ready for the 2025 NMRA show!
Another excellent fireless build here!

Shapeways has gone under! If you need 3D printing contact ALW/AAM for large format or resin 3D printing. AAM offers a rate of $0.55 per gram of material. Batch rates are available.
I have a handful of models I have never released as kits for various reasons. Most of these where either freelance projects that never got a mechanism assigned or shells that couldn't fit on the planned mechanism without very ugly compensation. I will be releasing these shells as a ALW stl pack sometime this week. Mostly HOn30 and HO scale shells both prototype and freelance. There is a possibility these models will be revisited in the future and after modification, be released as kits.
