Saved. What is being saved means and what are you being saved from? The bible says that there is no one good and that all have sinned against God’s perfect standards. Therefore all is condemned, separated from God, and into a literal fire burning hell for all eternity. Sin must be paid for and the payment for sin is death.

“Saved” means your sins (past, present and future) no longer count against you towards an eternal death sentence. God see’s you as blameless, free from accusation, completely forgiven, and righteous. You have the full assurance of going to heaven.

So how can you be saved? Well you must recognize that you are a sinner in need of savior and are helpless to saving yourself. You must also recognize that Jesus Christ is the eternal living Son of God. God says that salvation is a gift and a gift is something that is given to someone unconditionally. Whether the receiver (you) of the gift has or is behaving good or bad, the gift is still available to them. No man-made effort is required to the receiver to earn the gift. Salvation is not a bilateral contract, where you do something for God and God in return does something for you.

So here’s the good news, God loves you so much but hates sin and since the payment for sin is death, God by his grace sent his Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross as your substitute in which he was buried and rose again on the third day. Taking the death penalty that you deserve upon himself, placing His payment under your account. The only condition that is required of you is to simply BELEIVE that what Christ has done was fully sufficient for you. The very moment you believe, you have accepted the gift of salvation and you are saved for all eternity.

Righteousness. Inspired by the bible verses in the book of Romans chapter 4, verses 4-5, “Now to the one who works, his wage is not credited as a favor, but as what is due. But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness”.

Keeping the law of God does not make you righteous or any more righteous. Although doing the things of God, such as reading the bible, praying, helping the less fortunate, etc is great but our good works are just as filthy rags according to God’s eyes. No amount of man-made effort will result in righteousness. To be righteous is to be right with God and we become righteous by faith in Christ Jesus alone; trusting in his death, burial, and resurrection for our justification.

Be rejoiceful, prayerful, and grateful, not only when life is going great but also when it is not. I know that in our adversities it is hard to even think about doing those things. We get caught up in the mess that we dwell in it for some time. We begin to behave in a way that is detrimental to us and possibly drag those around us as well throughout the day. But if we choose to move forward in habit with a heart of contentment, love, joy and peacefulness, we learn to recognize the good things in bad situations. We learn seek the benefits of it and grow to become wiser and stronger, emotionally, physically and spiritually. It’s another step to living a life as Christ lived his. And for those who ask God to make their hearts anew, this is part of the process of your sanctifying journey.

We all have sin in us. God loves us but hates our sin. To pay for sin is eternal separation from God in a literal fire burning hell. God loves us and wants us to go to heaven. But to go to heaven we have to be perfect, no sin. Bible declares that no one is perfect. None of us can earn our way to heaven because there is no amount of good works to pay for our sin. The wages of sin is death. But by God’s grace he gave us a way for salvation. He sent his Son Jesus Christ to pay for our sin; all of sin, all yours, all mines, the sin’s of the world, took it and paid for it on the cross. The bible says Jesus came back from the dead, and that the payment for sin have been made and all he wanted you to do and the only thing you can do is to believe he did it for you. And if you do, He put his payment on your account and He imputes his righteousness in you and you have the gift of eternal life. Jesus loves you so much that he was willing to die to give you that gift. May today be the day of salvation for anyone that reads this. Time is short, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved forever. Trust in Christ today. This is our main purpose of this brand, to bring people to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
