Way back in January I was weaving placemats and then life happened but I finished the first one last night (brown) and now working on second (blue). Now to get the table refinished so they can shine!

Something different....this was my 10 yr olds final art project of the year. Some hand-dyed roving, some mixed roving he blended on the drum carder and some commercial yarn.

Not weaving but it shows the process of using my blending board through to spinning yarn. Will likely use it for weaving scarves. I love the pops of colour!!

I haven't been on here for quite a while as I've been dealing with some hip issues but today I got some spinning in. My plan is to use it as weft for an overshot scarf!

Holiday today so I spent it being creative! I really like this overshoot with the variegated tabby (background) and black weft.

Threading heddles on my smallest loom today to participate in a "Weave-along" with 5500 other people around the world! Amazingly I even know one of the teachers who is from Nova Scotia (and sold me this loom!).
