"ONLINE TRIVIA"

Who may join?
• The Online Trivia is open to all 1st-4th year college students of Holy Cross College of Carigara(HCCC).

Here are the mechanics to join the Online Trivia:

1. You must be a bonafide student in Holy Cross College of Carigara-College Department.
2. Make sure to like and follow our page to keep updated when we post the trivia questions.
3. Facilitators will wait for the participants to answer for 15 minutes.
4. You are given one chance to enter your comment in every trivia. Changing or editing of comments are not allowed.
5. Comment under the main (trivia) post.
6. To answer include your full name, year and course on your comment.
7. The first two person to comment the correct answer will be declared as the winners
8. One trivia question every Monday of the month will be posted.

RULES
1. The players were only permitted one response attempt. The first response to which the player will comment is the one we will accept.
2. The players must respond only for the amount of time specified by the facilitators.
3. The answers must be in proper spelling or symbology (if we give a question that the answer was needed to be in symbol).
4. Cheating is not allowed!
5. Non-compliance to the rules will result to automatic disqualification from the game.
6. To the declared winners, make sure to secure a screenshot as proof.
7. We will post the trivia tonight at 8:00pm.

GENERAL MECHANICS
1. In the Qualification round, the first trivia question will be posted in our page. We will be only accepting 30 (thirty) individuals, who’ve got the correct answer.
2. Facilitators will wait for the participants to answer for 2 hours. We will notify (mentioned in the comment section) the individuals who are qualified for the next round.
3. The Elimination Round and Semi-final round of the game will be played through Group Chat. In the elimination round, we will deduct 15 (fifteen) players and in the semi-final round, we will deduct 7 (seven) players.
4. Final round will be moved to Zoom Meeting. The remaining players should provide a bondpaper and ballpen/pencil.
5. The first three players from the remaining 8 participants who've got the highest points will be declared as the winners.
6. Questions of General Mathematics Quiz Bee will come from the following areas:
a. History of Mathematics
b. Solving Equations
7. The organizers reserve the right to change all rules and guidelines for this event without prior notice.
8. There will be a registration fee of 5 pesos for certificates.
