Dear Friends of the New River Gorge Community,

It is with a heavy heart that we are announcing the imminent closing of our doors for the foreseeable future.

While the support of the greater community, our friends from near and far, have been incredible, circumstances beyond the control of management have left us with no choice except to say good bye.

We have loved being a part of your fur family for the past two years, and will miss you dearly.

Summers County Humane Society/ACWP is putting on a FREE event at Bellepoint Park in Hinton WV, Saturday May,13th. This is a donation/grant based organization. Anything helps!

All human walkers welcome!
All leashed dogs welcome!
Come to help promote healthy living and spay and neuter.
All walkers receive a free tee shirt and bandana - while supplies last!
Healthy snacks and fruit smoothies provided.
Microchipping available $20

They will also have harnesses, dog jackets, collars and leashes for sale for a donation to their rescue.

Registration for the walk will begin at 10:30 and the walk will start at 11am!
