Exclusive!🚨
News just in that Veterans FC have agreed a deal to sign Uryside CB Kris “red card”Knight on permanent deal after a successful loan spell, Veterans FC paid a crate of tenants up front and further tins in add-ons.
The golden oldie is now due to travel to Vets to finalise personal terms and undergo a medical but not a fitness test as he is only good for a 100m sprint.
Kris is a no nonsense CB who likes to kick the opposition into touch…. Sorry ball in to touch.
Kris is an ex royal engineer and is a welcome addition to the team, we thank all the back ground staff who worked tirelessly to get this deal over the line after competition from a walking football team was close to securing the deal prior to the vets offer!

Veterans FC 5 - 3 Aberfield FC
It’s been a few months since we last played as you can see in some of the lads faces during the warm ups 😂
Although we were abit rusty, the lads quickly found their feet as we went 1-0 early on. However the reply from Aberfield didn’t take long after a questionable penalty was given. A sloppy mistake led to Aberfield going up 2-1 from a corner however after we equalised the game was in our control and we didn’t let go!
Today was a good run out for the lads and got our preseason underway, Thanks to Aberfield FC for the game and they were a improved side since our previous game. We wish them best of luck ahead of the season!⚽️

We have our first preseason friendly this Sunday against Aberfield FC. This will be a great run out for the squad before we head to Fort George to play the team in July.
We look forward to getting our preseason underway ahead of joining the Aberdeen Sunday Amateur Football League.

Veterans FC have rejected an approach from AFC to talk to their current manager Lee Hauley
Local sources claim Lee's head had been turned due to AFC's new partnership, however Lee has 4 years left on his current deal and the request has been rejected.

Veterans FC are delighted to announce that they have triggered the release clause of Mateo Juan Pedro Mallon` from Colombian premier league side Club Atlético Independiente for a record fee of 3.2m Colombian peso
Mateo joins veterans FC on a 4 year contract worth an estimated $6,000 Colombian peso per week contract with performance based add ons

Shout out to Veteran's FC today, 4 wins in 5 friendlies! We’ve yet to undertake any training so to go out and beat 3rd top of the Sunday amateur league in a closely fought tie was a huge morale boost for the Vets, with the team learning and improving every game.
After going in 2-0 down at half time having played well, it was a challenge for a new team to overcome but after Lee’s half time talk and Mackie rallying the troops on the field, we managed to go back out and battle to a 3-2 win…and battle it was with a few tasty challenges, but all in all great sportsmanship all round and we wish Sheddocksley FC good luck for the rest of the season.
Onwards and upwards for the vets!
