Although I was not elected I want to send a huge, heartfelt thank you to all who supported and voted for me. Special thank you to my wife Adrienne shephard, my boys Aaron Shephard and Jacob Shephard, Gary and Christy Wiggins, Royce Cameron, Alan Libbie, Lana Carr and many more who helped and guided me along he way.
Congratulations to Eddie Wells, Michael Hatch, Lori Jo Walker, and Heather Luckenbach. May God bless you all in guiding our school.

Calallen Community, early voting is upon us. I encourage you to get out and exercise your right to Vote.
I am asking for your vote so I can represent your voice on the Calallen ISD School Board.
I have been blessed with many years of coaching youth sports like football, basketball, baseball and soccer to umping baseball games and supporting 4H, Now I want to focus my efforts on ensuring Calallen students and faculty members have a safe and quality environment for education. My career and experience have laid a solid foundation in which to serve to school and ensure a better and brighter tomorrow for our students and faculty.

My name is Aaron Shephard and I am officially announcing my bid for election to Place 5 on the Calallen ISD School board.
I am a proud father of two sons who have grown up in the Calallen school system and have become fine young men. With the support of my wife Adrienne, I have had the honor of coaching many different youth sports in the capacity as both head and assistant coach as well as serving as treasurer and board member for many of the youth leagues. We remain engaged in our local 4H club and for many years supported the Calallen Education Foundation.
My intent in running for Place 5 of the CISD school board is to continue my service to my community. I firmly believe we have a responsibility to our Calallen community to educate and prepare our students to enter the world we live in today as well as the confidence in their abilities to adapt to what this world will be like tomorrow. In reaching this it will take the CISD Board of trustees working together as a team. By virtue of serving in the Army, continued education/degrees and current occupation, I have the necessary skills, experience, and desire to work with the CISD team in continuing to move Calallen forward in the pursuit of excellence.
In announcing my bid for election, I look forward to earning your vote on November 8th in order to have the opportunity to serve our school and community!
