Reading is such a powerful gift! I love that it's something our whole family looks forward to! 💗📚

What is your favorite thing about reading aloud to a child?

I love the curiosity it brings, asking what a word means or noticing something new in an illustration.

Ok, I know Sisters Day was yesterday but I was out of cell service all weekend (highly recommend)!! Drop those sweet sister pictures!!

We actually read A Celebration of Sisters this weekend camping, a very sweet book! We also have A Celebration of Brothers!

"Celebrate sisters, young and old, with this heartwarming, gently rhyming ode. The charming illustrations depict different families and sibling combinations, making them just right for anyone."

📖 Wipe Clean books are my favorite!!!! 🖍

So many nights at the baseball or soccer field this month and both girls play at different times with their age group! We make sure to pack a few wipe clean books for fun, and great for practicing writing skills, puzzles, letters and spelling!!!

Studies have show that consistent, daily reading is one of the biggest factors in a child's learning and educational growth, and yet helping your child stay motivated daily is one of our biggest challenges!

Starting next Tuesday, July 13th - I will be launching a REACH FOR THE STARS reading-incentive program for all children who want to participate! All participants will receive a digital catalog, sponsor sheet, wish list sheet and a reading journal to track progress.

There will be a grand prize drawing of all those that complete the challenge of 300 minutes within 14 days and I will do a couple random drawings throughout the reading challenge as well for those participating! Readers will also be able to purchase UBAM books of their choice by collecting pledges for completing the challenge.
