I had a conversation this morning with someone who told me how this event made them feel & that was all the confirmation I needed to keep going. I have allowed God to lead the way in the work we do & the message we want to put out in the world.

As humans we ALL have life experiences that produce the same emotions but it’s all about connecting and living in your truth so we can UPLIFT and be there for one another in ways that our SOULS desire!

Thank YOU to every single person that helped us bring this beautiful event to life. I envisioned a night where people would laugh,connect, dance & celebrate each-other & that is EXACTLY what it was. Beyond grateful is an understatement for how I feel 🥹

On 9/18/2008 my oldest blessing was born to an 18 year old momma. ❤️
You turned 14 yesterday and words could never do justice in explaining my love & admiration for you. Truly a one of a kind young man, everyone that knows you can see that good heart shine through. The journey ahead is unknown but I can rest knowing that my son is full of love & good intention! We’ve grown together on every level of life & I give thanks everyday for the privilege to do it by your side ! Ilysm my sweet boy🙏🏼

Last nights charity event supporting incarcerated youth was beautiful. The youth are the FUTURE. The youth are the ones who will advance it all & in order to make our world great we must support & guide them by any means!!

I’ve had the blessing of learning how to honor people & all of our differences ❤️ I have the most beautiful sons & husband who treasure their momma. Speaking about my journey isn’t easy. I include the hardships, the moments where I’ve sat there and asked God “Why” & I include the most painful times along with the most beautiful times !

Life is never linear & there will be moments you don’t understand but the way you respond to those moments & the way you carry yourself will determine the outcome. God always has a plan & it may not be the one you had for yourself but trust me it’s BETTER ✨

Art Therapy brunch alongside & .us was Magical! I love y’all and thanks for teaching me more beautiful things ❤️
