GC RAMS Track & Field

Great lactic workout today! Sprinter ran 2x25 sec drill and for the 1st time ever the mid distance and distance crew ran 3x27 second drill. What a practice! Great job boys!!!⚡️⚡️⚡️

Today the boys ran a 4x4 split predictor. It was our 1st lactic workout. The times were based on the fastest 3 times. Each athlete ran at least 3 x 150m sprints. Sprinters ran 3, mid-distance ran 4 and distance ran 5. We had 8 athletes run faster than any other runner did last year at this time!!! Great job boys!!!

GREAT 1st official day of track practice! For the 1st time we ran the bridge! Athletes did great! Won’t be the last of the bridge, but it will for a while!😁⚡️💪⚡️🙌⚡️

🚨🚨🚨SCHOOL RECORD🚨🚨🚨 We have a NEW SCHOOL RECORD in the boys DMR!!! Schilling, Madsen, Miller & Wolterman ran a 3:46.02!!! Breaking the old 10 year old SR of 3:47.78 in 2013!!!⚡️⚡️⚡️

The boys came to practice and lit it up 🔥!!! Ran our 23 sec drill where we run as fast as far as we can for 23 seconds. These top 5 distances are the farthest average ever recorded in this drill within the last five years or ever since we started doing this drill!!! ⚡️🔥⚡️🤯⚡️ LETS GOOOOO!!!!

Being canceled out of 3 meets so far did not hinder our track team! Great workout tonight by the boy mid/long distance group! They ran 3x200m with little rest. Their goal was 28 sec per 200. 1st time ever doing this drill! GREAT TIMES AND EFFORTS!!!⚡⚡⚡
