Heroes Muncie

Hi everyone. We are investigating another location and hope to have more info soon. In the mean time, I’m hoping to arrange a few “pop up” versions of HEROES to get us through til then!

Solemn update:
Last week we learned that Ramiro is a match for a family member in Chicago who has lupus and is ill and in need of a kidney transplant. This process can take some time so we've been preparing a plan. And, we learned two more things yesterday. Ramiro's brother, his wife, and their 2 babies returned home from a camping trip to find their home completed flooded out. They've lost everything and their home is not habitable. Then, we received the worst news. Ramiro's father is in the hospital and isn't doing well. They are giving a very grim prognosis and have implied he doesn't have long. This has us both shaken and Ramiro needs to be there all he can for his father and his whole family.

For now, HEROES is on hold. We are going to Chicago to be with his family as soon as we can this week. We will assess and make further decisions after we know more. HEROES is my dream and it will come to life at some point, but the Universe has other plans at this time.

We appreciate all of you who have shown us your moral support and willingness to help. Although we were funding this endeavor ourselves, the words of support and encouragement helped us get it underway.

Until we know more, we ask for your understanding as we know how much this meant to so many people. We hope to know more in the weeks ahead.
