It's really amazing how the body works!! Monday I came for labs and they were really bad.. preparing me for cancellation today.. I was sick about this because I have the perfect schedule rn and last chemo ends the day before school starts!! So I was really fighting for chemo today.. but ended up not having to fight because in 2 days levels went up from .8 to 1.6 😍(I need 1.5 or higher to receive chemo)
Hooray! It's the little things🩷
Please pray that I have a smooth weekend of aches and pains 🙏🙏 thank you all!!

💙BENEFIT LOCATION & DATE CHANGE💙
Due to changes in Trina's chemo schedule her benefit date of August 5, 2023 has changed to a future, not yet determined date. Tentatively looking at mid September. Her "Fighting Pretty" Round #2 benefit will be held at Tailgaters Sports Bar & Grill Bolingbrook. Understandably, Trina wants to feel good the day of her benefit & the concern was having the benefit days after a chemo treatment, she wouldn't. So, we're being proactive!
To everyone that has reached out to make donations "THANK YOU"❤️ and please hold on to em! I'll be in touch again within the next couple of weeks. 😁

Annnddd, her labs were on point today! THANK YOU SO MUCH for your continued prayers & support. Please keep em coming! It's making such a difference in her fight! Trina is a "Badass", which we're all well aware of. 🤗We know how mentally & physically STRONG she is, however your prayers & support make an ENORMOUS difference, makes her stronger! 💪💙

💙 I wanted to share this beautiful moment I was lucky enough to capture of "Davey" David Underdonk holding & comforting his mom today while at our parents. Trina's had a rough weekend due to her chemo treatment on Wednesday, (which we knew would happen)she was having waves of nausea, had a headache & in pain while there. I looked over from the kitchen to see Davey walking over to sit with his mom, wrap his arms around her & surround her with love & comfort. My "Chubbas", Davey...such a sweet, sweet amazing & responsible young man. I'm/we're all so proud of you & the man you're becoming.💙

Round 3 in the books! Had a few hiccups while there … just having little reactions to the chemo
Feeling really nauseous.. face and chest get reall red and hot. But had a great visitor bring me lunch!! Thank you Money!! (Molly DeSerf) then had an amazing dinner cook for my family By Chef Elizabeth! Flauntas ❤️ potatoes -beans

Please keep Trina in your thoughts & prayers this week as she has her 3rd Chemo treatment on Wednesday. Her sides effects get worse & last longer with each treatment. This past week was a rough one. She has good days & bad days. However when she feels good. she
absolutely makes the most those days! You know Trina & ya can't keep a good woman down!😁🥊💪
After 8-10 hrs of Chemo Wednesday, she'll go straight to bed once she gets home😣🤯. She'll work on Thursday💪 with the help of David & Joey (if needed) & Friday she'll spend 2-3 hours at Bolingbrook Cancer Center receiving hydration. Then BOOM, she'll be down for the count the entire weekend. Aches - pains-nausea-throwing up-diarrhea, you name it, she's experiencing it.😔 Can't keep anything down (or in 😣) She'll start to feel human again late Monday-Tuesday. Please send Trina words of encouragement & prayers this week that her side effects will be minimal.

This page was created to share updates on Trina's journey, a place to leave her messages of encouragement, prayers, support & a place her boys can go to at any given moment if they happen to need a gentle reminder that " mom's a BADASS & she's got this" We all may need that reminder from time to time if I'm being honest.

Tentative plans in the works are: Online Silent Auction, bracelets in support of Trina, & "Baseball & Bikes" event. Kane County Cougars game & motorcycle run from Heritage Harley-Davidson to Northwestern Medicine Field. You don't have to "ride" to participate & join in on the fun, you can of course meet at the game. Again, I will post the details as soon as everything is firmed up, dialed in & we're ready to go.

On April 24th, 2023, Trina was diagnosed for a second time with Ovarian cancer.
However this time around "The Bitch" (aka cancer) is unfortunately significantly more aggressive at Stage 3.
In January of this year, Trina had a beautifully perfect & completely clear scan. Come mid March, her levels were low. Trina then had another scan April 24th which resulted in yet again the worst, unexpected news imaginable. "The Bitch" was back & very aggressive.
Due to how aggressive it is this time (several spots & scattered) Trina's chemo treatments started immediately, one week after her diagnosis. She'll have a total of 6 rounds of chemo, 2.5 - 3 weeks apart.
3 rounds of chemo, then another scan to make sure her treatment plan is working, then 3 more rounds & scanned again.
Once again, Trina has maintained her quick & witty sense of humor, her positive attitude, grace & strength. Exactly as a true "WARRIOR" would. Fighting spirit, war paint, & boxing gloves on!!! Trina will eviscerate this "Bitch" again!!!
