From small garden patch as a child to once cropping 45 acres back to a garden patch these are my gardening exploits.
26th December 2023. What a season. Growing crazy hard to beat the the blight and insects. I did a bit of damage with a to strong copper spray concoction. The yellow effect on some of my crops is actually the camera, cant figure why.
It's that time again friends. Soon it will be 6 jars a time.

Hold em down boy! Darn tomatoes trying to escape by climbing onto the roof.
Cauliflower. Mature in 6 weeks. With a couple of dozen in the freezer I wont replant until autumn.
Thank goodness for waterproof slug baits. Even during the heavy rain in the past few days these baits still work. This giant 10cm slug was about to destroy my recently planted lettuces last night and got foiled..

10/30/21 Weekly garden progress report.
Giant garlic. This guy was growing randomly away from my main crop and was in the way of my chillies so I decided to pull him early. A remnant seed from last years crop I had to dig 300 mm down to get him. Giant garlic is much milder than standard garlic but still has that great taste. I grow about 50 plants a year, enough to eat and enough for seed.
