Fisherman in Kerry
Previously a frustrated fisherman living in London, I recently made the move across to Kerry. I am e
Quick little Sunday session in paradise
Saturday nights in Kerry hit differently!! Great times fishing into the early hours with a great bunch of friends.
Was amazing witnessing thousands of baitfish jumping out of the water, followed by mackerel and then followed by these beauties. Great to get up and running with the new set up too. Treated my self recently to the powerhouse Slammer IV and replaced the Nebula I snapped in the surf a few months back.
Sunday is family fun day!
First ever top water bass!!! Like dry fly fishing on steroids!
Went out on the search for some bass last night at a new estuary mark but the sea trout were out in full force. Landed these two beauts, lost two more and loads were jumping. Not bad for a quick session at a new spot
After quite a few false starts, great to get my bass season up and running with this 50cm beaut whilst lure fishing in the surf. Took a white savage gear seeker and sent my reel screaming. Cracking fight in the pitch black.
Another quick little session today off the rocks with the shrimp pulling up a lovely little wrasse
Managed to squeeze in a quick session at a mark I haven’t fished in a couple of years now. Managed to pull this lovely sea trout out after a few casts. Lots of bait fish activity about too, so looks like it’s all about to pick up.
Another tough day targeting Wrasse and Po***ck. Was struck by the first cast curse with this little fella but there seemed to be nothing else about. It’s been a tough start to the year for fishing in the south west so far…
Finally found a nice gap in the weather for a lovely night session targeting Ray, was a very quiet evening but we landed what we went looking for.
👀
Quite possibly the BIGGEST news we have got yet, check back Sunday 6pm for the announcement 🙊🙊
When you go out to catch fish but all you catch are stunning views
When the sun goes down the monsters come out to play. Great spot of night fishing in Singapore managed to land a Pacu, Pangasius and an Ikan Patin. Great scrap from all of them on super light gear.
Managed to get out on a brilliant little kayak fishing trip in Singapore a few weeks back. The fish weren’t really on the bite but great to catch some new species and also try out the Mirage drive.
Nothing beats getting out for a cast with your favourite person…
Always nice to nab the target species… and a first ever too 🦈 great fun off the kayak, although and I might have drifted a few more miles than originally planned 😂
When all else fails… chuck on a Ned, the Wrasse love em.
That was some session… must have fished for over 12 hours on the kayak. Covered a serious amount of water, saw some stunning scenery and had some world class company. Ended the day with a handful of mackerel, a few wrasse and plenty of po***ck. Not bad for a day out!
After a very long 2.5 months away… feels good to be back out fishing. As always a cracking day with and with the neds doing the business.
Absolutely cracking session out on the kayak with and . Finished the day with a load of Po***ck and a handful on Pouting. Shout out to for pulling up this beaut of a cod.
Another brilliant session out on the rocks with . Started out targeting Wrasse but after a few hours with no bites whatsoever, we turned to the metals and landed a few scrappy Po***ck.

Nothing like quality father-daughter time. Had a few casts on my new local spot, still not had a nibble but local intel tells me it’s a decent spot. Will get it figured out soon enough…
Cracking day out on the rocks! With the water still cold, the Wrasse were quiet but still managed to hook into a few.
Late last autumn, out on the rocks LRF’in for Wrasse. Watching out the window and waiting for this weather to pass so I can get back out there.
Start ‘em young
That time I took Marcus Nolan | IRELAND] to one of my favourite spots but we were welcomed by a 15ft swell and got absolutely drenched. Go and give Marcus Nolan | IRELAND] a follow for the most stunning photos of this beautiful place we call home.
Apologies for the silence… haven’t managed to get out fishing at all over the past few months as this little one has kept me more than occupied. I have had to refrain from constantly posting pictures of her on here too (yes, I am one of those dads). I am however already eyeing up a nice cross country carrier to take her out on the river. Can’t wait!!! Shoutout to Uncle for the awesome custom bodysuit
