Our strong foundation is built on the importance of Mental Health, Mindfulness, and Social Justice.
Today’s Mindfulness Session with the Women’s Ministry at Lomax AME Zion Church was so gratifying and enlightening! I thoroughly enjoyed teaching the women on the importance of mindfulness and how it applies to all things in life, including spirituality.
The workshop was Mindfulness based and focused on how Women can tap into God while understanding his wisdom and revelation (per Ephesians 1:18-19).
The uniqueness of Divine Healing is that our Mindfulness services apply to and are effective for all populations. Our services are client-centered and will always be tailored to meet your needs.

🎯Breathing can be a powerful anchor to help bring your mind and body back to the present moment.
📝When we experience emotions such as anxiety, worry, or fear, it can be easy to get lost in our thoughts and become overwhelmed. Using your breath as an anchor can help you to ground yourself in the here and now.
🥅 Take a few moments to focus on your breath. Start by closing your eyes and bringing your awareness to the feeling of the breath entering and leaving your body. Notice the sensation of the air as it moves in and out of your nostrils. Notice how the breath feels as it fills your lungs and stomach. Pay attention to the rhythm of your breath. Notice the pauses between each inhale and exhale. As you focus on your breathing, you may notice your thoughts and emotions begin to drift, like clouds in the sky. That’s okay. Acknowledge the thoughts and feelings without judgment and then bring your focus back to your breath. Allow yourself to be present in the moment, and notice the peace that comes with it. Practicing this simple technique can help you to become more mindful and present in your life, and can serve as an anchor when emotions become overwhelming.

It’s your Season, every season! What does that mean?
It’s important to remember that every season may not consist of everything that you desire. Sometimes we expect perfection (consistent successes) or we belittle ourselves because we didn’t get to accomplish everything that we desired in a certain time frame.
Gentle reminder: Some months throughout the year are meant to “rest and reflect” and others are meant to carry out our goals.
Why?
1. It helps you stay in the present moment
2. It’s important to rest to avoid burnout
3. It’s important to reflect so that you can identify the next best steps for your life journey
If you can accomplish these three things, then you’re excelling! You can thrive as you carry out your goals but also when you’re resting and reflecting.
Comment👇🏾what you like to do during your season of rest? Remember, stillness and self-care is vital!
Visit our website to purchase your “It’s your Season” candle today!

What’s your ideal “view”’ in life?
There are so many ways that we can view life, which essentially influences how we live. For example, some live life through a spiritual lens, where they follow their God’s or higher power's will. And others choose to learn more or have a pleasurable life. Some choose to do nothing and live with no purpose.
However you decide to view life and live your purpose, remember these few things:
1. Don’t ever let your ego get in the way of learning each day so that you can become a better version of yourself. You don’t know everything! 🗣️
2. You only live once.. again ONCE. Live your life for each moment!
3. Your purpose will change as you evolve throughout your life. Don’t be fearful of changing for the better. It’s okay to grow! I’m told all the time that I’m “different” now and I “care too much about helping others”. No, I changed because I’ve grown and yes I do care because one of my purposes is to serve others. Don’t let anyone have control over your purpose!
There are endless skills and actions to help guide you as you live in YOUR purpose! Not social media, your partner’s, or your best friend, yours! It’s always a pleasure to see YOU, WIN!
Keep going ✨
What is Mindfulness?
1. Being present (remain grounded focusing on the present instead of focusing on the past or future)
2. Noticing your emotions, feelings, and bodily sensations
3. Being nonjudgmental (as you’re noticing these things, be kind to yourself and others)
How do you practice these skills to live a Mindful lifestyle? And do you think Mindfulness only encompasses these things?
I like to think NO. It is deeper than the three components as they are only the surface of what Mindfulness truly is.
Mindfulness is being present.
To know who you are.
To feel grounded enough to know how you feel and why.
To know the importance of being present and not hanging on to things so that you can deplete those unwanted thoughts, feelings, and emotions.
Mindfulness is about facing the things that have once brought you fear, pain, and unease so that you can deal with the reality. The purpose is to help you process and assess so that you can create a forward path.
But as you're walking that path, remember that you got there because you chose to face your reality despite your pains and traumas.
That's when the non-judgment comes in. Don't judge yourself for the past or your current circumstance, as that, will only set you back.
Remember you still have a whole marathon to run. Mindfulness is a continuous cycle that needs maintenance to ensure sound mental health.
The marathon for peace, love, and healing continues!
A recap of Spring Break, DIVINE HEALING style! Spring break consisted of family fun/love and Mama Jones handling business at Sistahs in Business Expo!
As a mother first and woman who manages many roles, I’m really big on prioritizing and being cognizant of what I receive and use my energy on. Doing things intentionally and with purpose is what got me to this point in my life. This weekend was just that! I felt fulfilled leaving The Sistah Shop as my experience was one all business owners should have. Running a business is more than making sales, it’s about networking, building connections, and learning more about the people you serve. I met so many beautiful people this weekend! The Staff at the shop, families, and other business owners!
Oh, and y’all I can officially say that my products have made it to Paris!! I met a wonderful family who visited the shop in route back to their home in Paris and they absolutely loved my candles and supported me! (Highlighted in the video)
Humbled, overjoyed, blessed, and so much more! Thank you The Sistah Shop for opening up your doors for another Black Woman, and a special thanks for my Believers for always rocking with DH LLC! 🫶🏾
Day 2 of a successful weekend at the Sistahs in Business Expo in Elizabeth, New Jersey!!
Tranquility and Perseverance, what does that mean to you?
Often, we are all faced with having to decide what we need to incorporate in or deplete from our lives to ensure we obtain peace. Being transparent, that can be difficult, and we all have experienced this in life. You can “have it all” in your mind, but it can be ONE thing that shifts the whole trajectory of your life in a negative manner.
As you grow mentally, physically, and spiritually, your life will revolve, but it’s up to you to ensure it’s a positive effect as opposed to negative.
Here a few tips:
1. Remember your peace comes first! Be kind and gentle to yourself
2. Identify things that make you happy, find your niche
3. Don’t be fearful of releasing what no longer serves you
4. Organize your priorities. Things we believe are important aren’t and we feed it too much energy which could become catastrophic
5. Remember that in order to maintain your peace you must be persistent. Happiness is continuous, not a one time occurrence
I say “Mindfulness is the first step to Mental Health” because in order for you to do these things, you must be present!
Don’t give up and keep shining ✨
MAKE IT HAPPEN they always say.. the question is HOW?!
To make things happen in life, you must identify and assess in the present moment to achieve your goals and great outcomes. Don’t let those ruminating or intrusive thoughts get in your way of making progress.
Here are a few tips to keep a calm mind:
-When feeling anxious or overwhelmed, do a guided meditation to have your parasympathetic nervous system override your sympathetic nervous system
-Go on a mindful walk to clear unwanted thoughts so you can focus on your positive thoughts
-Sweat it out! As you’re exercising, each step, lift, or jab that you take, release the clutter in your mind
Doing these things will help you organize your thoughts and maintain positivity. Once you maintain this mindset, you will be equipped to focus on the positive things that you want to “make happen” and carry out your goals effectively and efficiently!
How do you believe Mindfulness is related to your success?
The first thing to understand is that Mindfulness is applicable to all aspects in life. Everything that you do requires the present moment to take each step needed to accomplish what you’re doing (go back and read the last sentence again).
Mindfulness is related to and determines your success because if you’re not present and don’t possess clarity on what you want to accomplish in life it will be difficult to achieve healthy and realistic goals.
Just a gentle reminder, everything is not always “a breeze”! Take your time, stay grounded, take accountability, and stay focused-and it will all work out in your favor!
Reflection and transparency is key to healing ✨
To get to this point, I experienced fear due to the unknown, but that didn’t stop me. I kept pursuing in the moment, targeting my stressors and anxiety, to get to this very moment. The point is have patience, trust and believe in yourself, and stay focused! Being present and intentional will help you achieve all you desire.
Try this and trust me, you will understand and see how fruitful your life can be.
GO HIGHER, what does that mean to you?
Achieving greater heights can be applied to all aspects of life. We all can increase our mental, physical, and spiritual through daily practices of Mindfulness, Health, and Wellness!
It all starts with you. I have been focusing on increasing my physical wellness to achieve a greater height of health and mental clarity.
Share below how you intend to go HIGHER in life.

Have you ever struggled with revitalizing your mind, body, and spirit? You are not alone ✨
There are many ways to revitalize yourself, and the specific methods that work best will vary depending on the individual. Here are some general tips:
1. Get enough sleep: A good night's sleep is essential for physical and mental well-being. Aim to get at least 7-8 hours of sleep each night.
2. Exercise regularly: Regular physical activity can help boost energy levels, improve mood, and reduce stress. Find an activity that you enjoy and make it a part of your daily routine (whew, I took some accountability with this 😊)
3. Practice mindfulness: Mindfulness techniques such as meditation or deep breathing can help reduce stress and improve mental clarity.
4. Connect with nature: Spending time outdoors, whether it's taking a walk in the park or going for a hike in the mountains, can help refresh your mind and body.
5. Eat a healthy diet: Eating a well-balanced diet that includes plenty of fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins can help provide the nutrients your body needs to function at its best.
6. Take breaks: If you're feeling overwhelmed or stressed, taking a break and stepping away from your work or other responsibilities can help you recharge.
7. Connect with others: Spending time with friends or loved ones can help boost your mood and provide a sense of connection and support.
Remember, revitalization is a process and not a quick fix. It's important to make self-care a priority and take steps to maintain your mental, physical, and spiritual well-being on a daily basis.
