I am so honored to have my quilt chosen as the Signature Quilt for the International Quilt Festival Long Beach. Many thanks to my quilter, Beth Godderidge.
We are thrilled to announce that the Signature Quilt for the 2023 Long Beach Festival will be "Criss Cross Stars" (41.55" x 41.5") by Nancy Messuri and quilted by Beth Godderidge. It will be featured on advertisements for the show and on the cover of Q2: The Quintessential Quilt official show program. You can also see it in the exhibit "A Celebration of Color," sponsored by eQuilter.com
Nancy says: "I love working on intricate quilt designs. After I designed the block, I had to redraft it for foundation paper piecing. I'm glad I did because I love this design. The Chartreuse is a surprising color and I was so thrilled I found such a bright yellow." It is machine pieced with foundation paper piecing, and an original design.
