On January 20 Corvain Cooper received a grant of executive clemency and was freed from prison after receiving a life sentence without the possibility of parole for a nonviolent cannabis offense.

Corvain was sentenced under the harsh three strikes law which resulted in his sentence of life without the possibility of parole for a nonviolent ma*****na offense. The father of two has been incarcerated since his arrest in 2013.

We are thrilled that after eight years of imprisonment Corvain is now reunited with his family including his two young daughters.
