Roger Niez started his martial art career in 1976 with hard style Karate, receiving his Black Belt in 1984 and continuing to receive his second and third degrees in Kenpo Karate. He has taught and practices all levels of self-defense, forms, and weapons. In 1992 Roger was licensed in Hsing I Chuan, one of the three internal arts. In 1994 began his studies of internal Shaolin and Chi Gong. He has instruction degrees in internal Shaolin, Hsing I, and I Chuan, some of the most traditional Kung Fu style recognized around the world. He has been accepted in the Bagua Association of China (The inner Door) and was instructor of the year 1994 for the Hsing Chen School of Costa Mesa, Ca. His studies include Yang Style Tai Chi, Chinese Weapons, and Chi Na’, currently holding the rank of “Gao Shao”, Master Teacher.
Roger Niez offers classes in Chi Gong, I Chuan, Hsing I Chuan, and Tai Chi. He specializes in adult students from beginning to advance levels. He teaches peace officers, military, security professionals and advancing martial artist of all levels individually. Roger puts on a series of clinic workshop classes annually. Roger assesses people with beginning to advance levels of internal martial arts, meditation, and Chi Gong in groups and individual studies.
