The QCWA are looking to establish a Sensory Garden within the confines of the Crows Nest CWA Hall ga
2022 will see this project commence in stages.

All of the ideas and contributions from the Sensory Garden Workshop held on the 1st of June have been collated.
Please find attached some of the images from the collated document.

A wonderful article has appeared in the latest Herald publication about the Crows Nest Branch of the QCWA and the proposed Sensory Garden Project.
What a wonderful evening was had by all the Crows Nest QWCA Meeting held that the Hall in Thallon Street.
Over 40 people attended, had a lovely meal and participated in our first workshop to gather ideas on the Sensory Garden Project and what the community would like to see in it.
The creative juices flowed and many wonderful ideas were sparked.
The information will be collated and presented back to the participants, stakeholders as well as anyone else that wishes to become involved in this community project.
A big thank you to everyone that worked tirelessly to ensure that everyone was well fed. As always the food was wonderful.

The Crows Nest QCWA will be holding their next twilight meeting on Tuesday the 1st of June.
The meeting is set to commence at 6pm and will be held at the QCWA Hall, located at 7 Thallon Street Crows Nest, next to the Salts Building.
A meal will be served during this meeting for a nominal $10 charge to cover costs. When calling to RSVP, please advise of any dietary requirements so that everyone can be catered for. Please feel free to bring along a beverage of your choice to have with your meal. Complementary tea and coffee will be available during the evening.
On the agenda will be further discussion and planning on the upcoming Sensory Garden Project. Anyone that holds an interest in the development of the Sensory Garden, are encouraged to bring your thoughts and ideas along to the meeting. The project is currently in the planning stages.

The Crows Nest CWA is in the planning stages of developing a sensory garden that will be a community space of healing, relaxation and reflection.
The space will be developed in conjunction with a number of different stakeholders including local community groups.
We look forward to sharing more ideas and details on this project as things develop.
