We have been so excited to announce this! Colin Allured is joining us as a multi-instrumentalist playing nylon string guitar, electric guitar, Kamale ngoni, and the three string creation we have named the Camelini. He is a master musician and has enhanced the sound of the band so much! Welcome Colin to thw group and come
check him out! We have performances on the way including a night at Foothills Brewing, the Martha Bassett Show, The Haw River Music Festival, and the Carolina Summer Fest this summer. Dates and details coming.

We are so excited to announce the release of our first album, Fire. The album will drop on October 13th with a release show at Gas Hill Drinking room in Winston-Salem, NC. Mark your calendars and come help us launch our first release!

The 8 tunes on this album were all composed by myself over the course of this past year. They started as exercises in writing arabic maqam melodies and I enjoyed what I had written and started arranging and digging more into them. I knew that they were not right for my band but new I needed to do something with them so it became a very fun and rewarding recording project. Please take a listen!

This summer I caught up on some long over due recording projects. I actually have four solo albums completed and the first The Travis Williams Group album will release this fall! In the meantime I am going to be releasing this album later in the week. This is a collection of 8 original compositions meant to call back to the Golden age of arabic music. through the use of some impressive virtual instruments this album was performed completely by me on both real and virtual instruments with the imaginary ensemble of Oud, Clarinet, Trumpet, upright bass, fram drum, riq, and darabukka. Check back for the release this Thursday!
