My friend.. fellow artist, Deanne McKeown makes wonderful sculptures.. Deanne gave me a start when I was making jewelry back in the 80's-90's.. I was in her beautiful shop.. Isadora's in Tlaquepaque Village in Sedona for many years.. Also in her husband's shop, Gifted Hands.. Those were special times.. 🥰

I'm currently in "The Crow Show" at the Studio Door Gallery in San Diego. This is an annual exhibition of works themed on corvids, which, of course, is near to my heart. My piece this year is a bronze bell with a raven theme. It's always a joy to see how artists from all over the country create around this theme. The show catalog is available to view online.

My Aunt Joan's older sister, Eleanor, just turned 100!!.. Her grand daughter applied for and received a birthday greeting signed by the King of England and Camilla..
And another one signed by the Governor General of Canada..
She was surprised that she was 100!!.. What a milestone.. 🥳🥰😍

The Tubac Tale..
Charlie brought down a new battery.. turns out it wasn't the battery but failure of the alternator.. something that cannot be fixed at the show..
A big THANK YOU to Candy Vermillion.. Patrice Meyerdirk and Greg.. Mary and Al Mary Hone.. Tubac, Arizona Chamber of Commerce and all the security guys!!.. I was allowed to start packing up earlier.. we needed to get the van home before dark.. we hastily loaded up.. left at 4:15.. home by 6.. amen!..
Now to clean out the van. .and get it repaired.
What a week.. Luckily.. even with the crazy weather.. we did have
some great shoppers.. and good sales.. blessed.. 😍

Huge thanks to Starlink guys.. Jack,Daniel and Tim! They went to Tubac fire dept and brought back gravel to my booth.. and many more.. They made a bad situation into a great one!!
What a day.. rains until noon.. then hail at 3:30.. closed up.. only to find my van with dead battery! Today's issue..
At least it will be a sunny one!
