The 3 overs that stop you from meeting your goals:
Overeating 🍔 - if you’re struggling to manage your weight it might be time to start looks at food as more fuel ⛽️, than to just indulge - eat with your brain and not your eyes 👀!
Overworking 💪🏽 - We are only human! You need to allow your body to recover after breaking down all those muscles - don’t overdo it!
Overthinking 🧠 - We tend to spend so much time thinking about doing something, that we sometimes psych purselves put - don’t over think (as shia lebouf/nike says) just do it!
A great quote from the man himself Walt Disney.
I come across many people who are always telling me their “plans” to start doing something. Whether it’s fitness related or not, they always describe how they would start now or soon but they are just waiting to be done with this or that.
you can’t just talk about making a change, you need to take action towards it.

I just wanted to talk about some myths people unfortunately believe in regards to staying in shape:
1) You dont need to have a salad 🥗 and protein shake 🥤for every meal, there are endless options for what foods you can eat, you just need to be creative
2) You can still eat the foods you enjoy. Everything in moderation, and everyone is also different so you will need to adjust based on your body’s needs.
3) You need to cool every meal 👩🏻🍳- now this just isn’t true. You can still eat out and order food as long as you are making smart decisions and not making a habit out of eating fast food 🍱.
If you our anyone you know is interested in a personalized meal plan, have them give me a call and lets get to work!

I wanted to address 3 things you should not do when struggling from mental health issues.
First, you should not ignore the feelings you are experiencing, as it will only lead to more issues in the future.
Next, you should not be afraid of what you feel as there are many others who feel the exact same way as you.
Finally, keeping quiet or not talking about your problems is not good, because then you will never be able to work on the issues you are dealing with and also no one in your circle will be aware of your true feelings.
Staying fit is about more than just keeping yourself in physical shape and eating right. Keeping your mind right is very important! 🧠✅
3 ways to do that are: Meditation 🧘♀️ , Reading 📖 , and Cold showers 🚿.
Meditation is a great way to relax and forget about all the daily stressors you have in your life. It can also help organize your thoughts in your mind. Studies have shows the regular meditation will also strengthen your prefrontal cortex, which is the area of the brain associated with resilience and mental toughness.
Next, reading keeps your brain active and working, and as a result it will build a stronger brain. It is also a great way to improve your overall knowledge. Reading is another way to relax as a good book can pull you right in, and make you forget about everything around you!
Finally, cold showers are amazing for your mental health. I personally take one everyday and I find it acts as a total reset for my mind. Besides building mental toughness, cold showers could also increase endorphins and decrease cortisol. Endorphins are the feel-good hormones that make you 😁. Cortisol is a stress-inducing hormone.
Staying motivated can be tough 😓. There are many external factors in our daily lives that can take a lot out of us and affect our workouts.
Some ways to stay motivated are: first, having a plan, a goal, something you are building towards, as that can help keep you on track and motivated. that way you are also not just working out w***y nilly.
Next, working out with a friend 👯♂️or buddy is a good way to stay motivated as you can challenge each other and push each other to reach your goals 🥅.
Last but certainly not least is having a killer music playlist 🎶. Have some songs that make you feel 👍 and you can jam to. Also, dont be afraid to change it up here and there.
Here are some foods 🥬🍕to avoid when you are trying to shed some weight.
*Honestly, you should try to avoid eating these types of foods at all times, regardless of your fitness goals.*
Even though fast food 🍔 is usually the convenient option, the real thing to consider is do you really know what you are putting in your body ?👤
How can you expect your body to perform the way you want it to, if you fill it up with 🗑.
Processed foods are usually filled with unhealthy amounts of added sugars, sodium and fat. While these foods may make your food taste better, they could lead to all kinds of health issues ⚕️like: heart problems🫀, diabetes, high blood pressure 🩸and more.
Lastly, if you can’t understand the ingredients of whats inside your food, you shouldn’t be eating it, its that simple.
I always have people asking me why they are going to the gym consistently but they aren’t able to put on muscle. 💪🏽
It usually comes down to 1 of these reasons.
Getting the necessary protein 🍗🥩your body needs is low-key probably the hardest thing on this list. However much protein your intaking now, it probably not enough.
Progressive overload is super important for building muscle. You need to be progressing at the gym📈. It could be through more weight, more reps, or more dynamic exercises 🏋️♀️.
Lastly, rest and recovery is super important and something most people tend to minimize. You need to be getting a healthy amount of sleep 😴as well listening to your body and taking rest days 🛏 when needed.

We are getting started off with 3 huge misconceptions about weight loss. People always ask me if they should be skipping breakfast or avoid eating when they feel hungry. The answer is NO! Of course you don’t want to be overeating, but you definitely should not be skipping meals.
I also have people who think that all you eat on a diet are salads🥗 or 🥦. That isnt true either there are ways to eat delicious and nutritious foods that will help duel your body the right way and help you meet your goals.
Finally, you have people who think the need to be cardio bunnies 🐰 , meaning they go to the gym to just be on the treadmill 🏃♂️. That isn’t true either!
If you’re ready to make a change, we have personalized workout and meal plans available.
•••Protein Powder•••
Protein powder is a great way to get in the necessary protein you need without having to eat the equivalent in food. I recently switched to a vegan protein as I have found that its easier the stomach compared to whey protein. Do you use protein powder in your daily diet?
Yoga is awesome! 🧘♀️
What a great way to releive the stresses and anxieties of our daily life, while also being an amazing way to help our bodies recover through dynamic stretches. Yoga also helps with building body and breath control. Anyone at any age, in any type of shape can do yoga. It for everyone!
Today I started off my day with a pretty basic yoga flow in the ☀️, and it had me feeling great! I highly recommend trying out yoga, especially if you’ve never tried it before 👐
•••••Meal Prep #2•••••
Grilled Chicken and Sweet Potatoes
Im a big fan of pre cooking meals as it leaves you with no excuses to eat badly for at least one of your daily meals. Its a great way to stay on track and not slip into a cycle of eating junk 🗑.
Before we go any further a little disclaimer - I am NOT a professional chef 👨🏽🍳!
Moving on from that, I like making this becuase it doesnt take too much time. With the sweet potatoes I just had to peel, chop and put them on a tray with spices, and then pop them in the oven till theyre ready. During that time I cook the chicken on a pan and within about 45 minutes Im done with both the chicken and sweet poatoes.
Chicken is a great source of lean protein as well as other benefits, and sweet poaties ar eloded with fiber, vitamins and minerals. They also support brain function and your immune system (especially important these days).
I also like to get creative sometimes mixing the chicken and sweet potatoes into a wrap or sandwich with other things like avocados 🥑 or other veggies. So if you to try this out don’t be afraid to let those creative juices flow and try out some different ways to eat your meal. Thats all for now, bon apetit! 🍽

In honour of we are throwing it back to 2013 when I was 235+ pounds and obese. It was not till about a year after this picture was taken that I decided to make a change in my life, and take control. I went on a long journey to get where I am now, starting with losing 65 pounds in 6 months in 2015 and then continuing on to draft to the IDF Paratroopers in 2017. I would have never become the person I am today had I not decided I wanted to make a change, but more than that, actually take action and do something about it. It started with small changes in my life and eventually led to where I am now. I decided to post this for a few reasons: first if it can motivate others to make some type of change in their life that would he amazing, no matter the change, as long as it is for the better. Second, I wanted to show that it is possible to completely transform your body no matter where you are starting from, it just takes commitment and you have to want it and be willing to do something about it. Lastly, I wanted to show that while it may have been a long journey to get to where I am, it would have never happened if I didn’t start out with a goal or something I was working towards; something that I wanted to achieve, and not only that but also as soon as I achieved said goals no matter what they were, I immediately went on and set new ones, constantly trying to improve wherever I could. The picture on the right is from a few days ago, and Im currently sitting at 175 pounds, 70 pounds less than what I was in the first picture and feeling healthier than ever! Again this is jot to show off but just to show that change is possible, as long as you will it.
