Seemed like the perfect time of year for this one!

I wrote this one with Ashley E. Norton Performance & Career Coaching! It came out of her hook, "overthinking and undersleeping", and really spun into a song about when you're trying desperately to fall asleep, but your mind just won't shut up. Can you relate?

I swear I had five different colors lighting this one, but it seems like if my phone camera sees blue, it ONLY sees blue. I'm working on it, but in the meantime I hope you enjoy my acoustic cover of "Mad World", originally by Tears for Fears ❤️

It's the height of spooky season now! With Halloween just around the corner, "O Death" seemed like the perfect song for this week 🎃

There's a surprising number of versions of this song, and this one's an unholy mix of a few of my favorites. Did you know that it's based on an Appalachian folk song from the 1920s?

To be honest, the real origin of this song is that I realized I could make a musical pun out of the chord progression D-E-A-D - and thus, Halloween is "DEAD" 😂 Thank you to Ashley E. Norton Performance & Career Coaching for humoring me on this one! And for writing it with me ❤️

I mean, it's Friday the thirteenth in October, how was I supposed to resist writing a thematic murder song? ☠️

It's officially Fall, and that means it's time for my annual spooky sea shanty! This one in particular is more shanty in vibes than in true structure, but I hope you still enjoy it 😅

Jimmy Buffett was actually the first real concert I ever went to, and he will be so very missed. I thought his newest song to be release, "Bubbles Up", was very fitting for the time. RIP Jimmy, and thanks for everything ❤️

Every year Labor Day is a reminder of the hard-won victories our fellow workers have achieved throughout history. Their struggles and sacrifices I am so grateful for, and we have a long way still to go in their footsteps and beyond.

This particular video is intended to be a tribute to the now-famous Radium Girls, the young women that painted glow-in-the-dark watch faces and scopes in the early 1900s, only to be subjected to the horrific consequences of both radium poisoning and industrial greed. Their incredible fight for justice has had a huge impact on our quality of life today.

If you'd like to know more about them, I recommend "The Radium Girls" by Kate Moore! It's a harrowing and tragic read for sure, but an excellent one ❤️

I've been working on this one for a long time! My band did a cover of "The Story" by Brandi Carlile with a guest singer a while back, and have been trying to keep it on in our setlist without her, but it's a beast! To learn it a bit better I... uh... learned all the parts. I hope you like my version ❤️

I'm so happy with how this one turned out! I absolutely love pop punk but have never tried to write anything for the genre, so when Kenneth said he'd made a pop punk version of my original "Nitroglycerin" I was hooked 😁 I hope you love it as much as I do ❤️

Now seemed like the perfect time for this song, with the end of Pride Month and the beginning of Disability Pride Month, not to mention everything that's happened in the past week.

This song was inspired by a definition of privilege that's stuck with me for a while now - the idea that privilege isn't defined as set of benefits that the privileged has, but rather a slew of disadvantages, like secret rules, that compound in those without. In that spirit, this song is written without the letter "e".

Though I have my own set of secret rules imposed on me, there are many bearing the weight of many more than I'll ever know.

Hang in there, everybody. It's going to get better.

This one's silly! Ashley E. Norton Performance & Career Coaching and I sat down to write a song together and immediately lost audio. We took about 10 minutes to figure out what had happened, and she mentioned that she saw an article about it being Mercury in retrograde and we could blame it on that 😂 Thus a song was born!

As much as I love Noah Reid's version of this song from Schitt's Creek, I think my heart belongs to Tina Turner's original version. Let me know what you think of my acoustic take on it! ❤️

This might just be my favorite thing ever that I've had a hand in producing ❤ Kenneth-Marten Lück is a friend of mine and fully remastered my original song "Pressure (The Sky Is Falling)" into this absolute masterpiece - I hope you all love it as much as I do!
