Shadow boxing is a great exercise to improve your boxing form and muscle memory. It also works your chest, shoulders, arms, and leg muscles.
By adding the Dynamic Rope to this exercise, it provides resistance which enables you to increase muscle activity in all of the areas in addition to increasing your punching power by adding resistance feedback.
Dynamic Rope Shoulder Press
This exercise is the go-to for anterior deltoids, triceps, trapezius activation. Of course, there are many other muscles involved, including the pecs, but these are the most obvious.
When using the Dynamic Rope to execute this movement, you get the concentric muscle activation. Still, the Dynamic Rope's intrinsic nature provides eccentrics components to the action while activating the core and back stabilization muscles.
