Happy 2nd Founding Anniversary LUCCSO!

September 13, 2019. A special meeting with various Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) was organized through the initiative of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) and the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU).

These various CSOs came together and formed the La Union Coalition of Civil Society Organizations or LUCCSO.

Ms. Vini Nola A. Ortega, Chairperson of LUVWI, was elected as the first President of LUCCSO.

NAGKAKAISANG PROBINSYANO. Gearing towards the celebration of LUCCSO's 2nd Founding Anniversary, the Board of Trustees of LUCCSO, composed of various active CSO Presidents in the province, led by Ms. Vini Ortega, virtually convened last July 14, 2021.
Their unity and collaboration paved the way for the proposed LUCCSO Week that aims to strengthen the network and cooperation among accredited CSOs, promote active participation with the Provincial Government, and provide basic services for all KaProbinsyaan.

Today, our LUVWI Chairperson, Ms. Vini Nola A. Ortega, represents the Region 1 in the National Economic and Development Administration - Private Sector Representatives (NEDA - PSR) National Convention via zoom meeting. Part of the discussions for today are the PSRs' Role in the Regions' Recovery and Resiliency, National COVID-19 Vaccination Plan, Resiliency Through Digital Transformation, Supporting Digitalization of MSME's, Innovation in the Agriculture Sector and Achieving AmBisyon Natin 2040 through Sustainable Finance.
