NCIP Zambales conducted AD Visitation this November 30, 2023. Focusing on the,output of the prior AD Visitations conducted. Selected IPMR’s of San Felipe, Cabangan, Botolan and leaders of Iba had articulated their respective accomplishment far as coordinated projects with other government agencies. They had also presented problems of the community. It was agreed upon that way of conflict transformation, all issues shall be settled first in the community utilizing their cultural processes before it would be endorse to any other agency. This, to ensure that the exhaustion of cultural remedy is respected. Atty. Roland P. Calde-Regional Director of NCIP Region III had spearheaded the activity giving directions and worthy suggestions to ensure the well-being and continuous upliftment of the rights and culture of the ICC’s/IP’s. Notable pronouncement like the resumption of the IPMR Selection, documentation of the IPs/IPO,upgraded dealings with other Government agencies, IEC on IPRA and the corresponding responsibility of the ICC/IPs capped the discussions of the Director. NCIP Zambales Provincial Officer-Atty. Roman A. Antonio seconded the pronouncement of Regional Director and further urged the community to respond swiftly utilizing digital edge. The community shall use there facebook account to speedily send communication to other government agencies. If they can open a community account, then far better. Education shall also be a joint project of PNP, Army, DepEd in order to address issues like drivers license and negotiational dealings especially the pouring of investment in the Ancestral Domain . Atleast, Zambales IPs can now held their head up because they contributed significantly unto the coffer of the government. Other government agencies had presented their services for the IP’s and note worthy to state that majority of which are being savored by the IP. All IPMR’s are mandated to ensure that their community will benefits from it.

Brgy. Palis Kagawad Lito Dela Cruz accompanied Josie Capitpit and Lito Capitpit to report to NCIP ZPO the issue of land selling at Palis, Botolan, Zambales.
Engr. Albert Alisdan asked them if they can summon the land seller who is a sibling of Josie Capitpit. Engr. Albert Alisdan also explained to them that they can file a case against the land seller. The NCIP ZPO will send him a letter of invitation for a meeting with the complainant - Josie Capitpit.

Gloria Bulatao and Alenia Sabangan with Brgy IPMR Ramon Abejon of Burgos, Municipal IPMR Ladie De Leon, Brgy Sec. Aileen De San Juan and Brgy. Treas. Nicolasita Ferrer of Burgos seek clarification for the concern of Brgy IPMR for not receiving the same emoluments with the regular brgy council.
Ms. Achacoso explained the deflicit of IRA received by the brgy affected the financial status of the council. A draft adjustment of financial expenses was suggested and presented to the Brgy Sec and Brgy Treas was suggested and presented. Additional Brgy income is suggested to be accomplished to supplement the Brgy Expenses.
