Today we celebrate World Tequila Day. Today we thank our partners — from the distillery in Jalisco to the consumers that care about their Tequila, and make Epic Western possible. From the very start, 100% Blue Agave Tequila was our North Star, because we wanted a canned cocktail that tasted just like we mixed it at home.

If you've ever spent time in San Antonio, Texas, you know the city has a flavor of its own. The Margarita is a classic cocktail enjoyed around the world, but here in San Antone, we add orange to balance the lime and brighten the flavor. Our Chispa Rita is a sparkling spin on the classic Skinny Marg. ​​​​​​​​

So what separates it from other margaritas in a can? We don't use a sugar alcohol base, or a mixto tequila base (blended and canned in the U.S. with neutral grain spirits mixed in). We make ours in the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, with 100% Blue Agave Tequila from a small, family owned distillery (NOM1531). We use certified Mexican mineral water, real citrus and a pinch of salt. It isn't the easy way to produce a cocktail in a can, but it's the only way to do it right...with the most premium ingredients. We make it like you'd mix it at home. ​​​​​​​​
