Fun time building this. It’s a personal project inspired by accessories for my desk. The proportions turned out great for just winging it and I’m really happy with the extra dimension it’s added to my desk!

I’ve been working on a little project to reface these IKEA drawers for an office cabinet. White melamine is just 🤢…but white oak with a little melamine accent is ok haha. I laminated these with 1/4 with oak ply for stability and flatness and finished off with

Mistakes are a thing - they aren’t as prevalent under the IG lens, but they certainly still occur… One of those frame pieces ended up being a 16th too short and I didn’t have another 7ft piece of poplar for this so I inserted a shim. I think the face came out flawless and without the inside corner, it’d be hard to find. Either way, sometimes part of the puzzle is fixing when you decide to eat one of the pieces 😂

Excited to have a new laser in the shop!!! I’ll be unboxing the XTool D1 Pro from .official and .us soon. This 20w laser is going to be a big boost from the other diode laser I’m using now. I’m especially excited to try out the air assist!

These handy little setup blocks from made ripping all the White Oak slats for this picture frame set a breeze. Consistent widths and easy reference measurements are the best way to go for prepping stock!!

Filming a YT video on these simple picture/book ledges. So far it’s been a fairly straight forward process. Looking to keep the video really simple and to the point…but I did use a domino 😬
