Raise your hand if you like working in the outdoors???
For me running multiple businesses there is nothing better then getting away and doing some planning while in the woods.
Camping helps me do that with the amenities of a comfortable bed and toilet in my RV.
The RV also allows me to travel for business and be comfortable as well.
Being outdoors and specifically working outdoors is huge for achieving my purpose in life.
When’s the last time you took the laptop outside to work?
Of you are feeling stressed…
Confused….
Overworked….
Foggy….
Or that you just can’t handle anything else on your plate…
Find a place in the woods to take a walk!
Put your phone down and just be outdoors!
Be present where you are!
Stress is no joke…(just read my book and you will see)
But nature is no joke either and it can heal you!
It doesn’t have to be some lavish retreat….
It can simply be a walk down a path through the trees!

All of our stuff is made in the states and you won’t have to wait for a boat to get it!

****Weekend Recap****
I got some relaxing time in this weekend at a great campground about 2.5 hours south of St. Louis.
Fall is my favorite time to get away and we will be doing it every weekend until probably Christmas.
We are currently booked through Thanksgiving at this point.
Now before you panic and try to figure out how I am gone every weekend and still manage to run businesses, run my household and build my empire let me just say this.....
It is an ever evolving process.
I am not always great at relaxing but after several health scares over the years, one being stress induced, I have learned that I need to make relaxing a priority.
I also have a wonderful partner that is the KING of relaxing so he brings me back down when I get off course too much.
My guess is that you could use some relaxation right about now as well with whatever is going on in your life.
Well I am here to say you to can have relaxing weekends you just have to make it a priority.
You have to realize that when you are going crazy like a mad women, running your own empire, being a teacher, being a therapist, being a wife, and being a career women that all that s**t will fall if you fall.
When I fell in 2011 it cost me a good deal of pain, a weekend stay at the hospital and some procedures that I would rather not relive.
So save yourself some of that and find ways to relax in nature as many weekends this fall as you possibly can.

Have you heard of HUSTLE culture?
Where you just work and work and work to get where you want to go?
In the business space I am in this is so prevalent.
Which is why I am so thankful to have camping.
Camping stops the hustle.
Camping slows my life down.
I often get caught up in always being on the go, always being productive and pushing towards our goals.
That's what happens when you are an entrepreneur, you have a big vision and you just keep pushing towards it.
But camping makes me remember to slow down and enjoy the simpler things.
It is a true balance for me.
Why do you like camping so much?
I was on the go all the time.
Moving from one thing to the next, closing one deal after another.
My phone was at my side constantly.
I was taking loan applications from the side of a river bank.
I was sending pre-approval letters for home purchases from the camper.
I was always on, 24/7.
Then I crashed.
And I lost my way.
I didn't know which way was up.
I took the first step though and realized I needed an escape.
And a true escape not some mixed version.
So I just started camping in spots with no cell service.
Which trained me to not have to have my phone and be on all the time.
I also did plenty of other things which I detail in the book, link in bio, but that was a start.
Funny how it took getting into the middle of no where to find my way again.

This is my favorite time of year!!
Fall camping season brings me so much joy!
It’s the time I take every weekend to sit, listen, strategize, plan and reconnect with my purpose.
Being in the woods every weekend gives me the opportunity to realize what truly matters in life.
It allows me to sit, think about and reconnect to why I am here and what I want to accomplish.
It allows me to turn off the unnecessary noise and turn on the only things that matter.
It allows me to attack my weeks with calm, focused actions instead of chaotic responses.
Right now I am in the mix of all sorts of things, relaunching a brand, building a business, partnering on another business, managing a non-profit, and providing more value to other businesses.
But all of this I do on purpose.
All of this I do because I connect to my purpose here, in the outdoors!
Taking our camping skills and preparing for anything!

Backing up nightmares
And too many food experiments to count.
We have manged to keep our rig and marriage rolling for all these years!

Just real and honest on this one!
Sometimes we have gourmet meals and all of our clothes.
And some weekends are like this….
But we enjoy every weekend in the woods!
