Tutus and Tapshoes Eisteddfod

💚🖤 Good Afternoon all, Firstly, thank you all so much for entering TTTS we’ve finished the program and have had to make some changes so we are not running late into the night on Sunday 11 Feb. There is a church group who use the hall on a Sunday morning which means we are unable to kick off the day until after 1.30pm. With the entries we received for the 14’s & 16’s we would have been running until 10pm on the Sunday night so we made the decision to make the following changes. We hope you can all understand, trust me we tried so hard to fit it all in but made the decision we can’t run until we 10pm on a Sunday night 💚🖤

The changes are as follows:

- 16/U have been moved to Saturday 24 Feb with the exception of All classical sections including Variation & some of the Contemporary Sections which will remain on Sunday 11 Feb.
- 18/U & 21/O have been moved to the afternoon/evening of Saturday 10 Feb

I’m emailing the rough program soon, so if you haven’t received it by tomorrow please let me know 😊

💚🖤 An update on performing your Variation and Contemporary on the weekend of 10-11 Feb 2024. We can accommodate all age groups on this weekend but only for your Variation or Contemporary not all other genres. Come along to perform your routine, receive a voice critique and be prepared for your next performance. If you place you will qualify for Dance Life Unite Nationals that are held in Sydney in 2025. 🩰 We’ve had some enquiries about allowing Classical Variations at our next Eisteddfod. We have decided we will accept entries into this category. These will be danced on the weekend of the 10-11 Feb 2024. Please enter via Comps on Line and enter into the Classical section. Once you have entered please email [email protected] with your dancers name and we will make sure it is on the program as Variation. At this stage we will change our Classical section to Classical/Variation. But if we get enough entries we will seperate the two. Any questions please reach out via Facebook, Instagram or email 💚🖤

Firstly, we would love to thank all the amazing 10/U dancers and parents who came and stayed until 8.30pm last night which will now avoid us having to stay until 11.30pm tonight 😊

Kicking off with the 8/U’a this morning and working our way back to the 10/U’s to give them a little sleep in 😊

💚🖤 The Medal Man will be at Tutus and Tapshoes on Thursday from 8.30am to engrave you medals. $7.00 per medal 💚🖤

WOW, what an amazing effort from everyone today for our first Troupe Eisteddfod 💚🖤 we had a few technical issues with the stage lights this morning but once that was fixed things went smoothly. Thank goodness for the air conditioned change rooms and hall on this 35 degree day. Looking forward to Solos for the rest of the week 💚🖤

💚🖤 There is still over 200 pieces of music that need to be uploaded by midnight tomorrow night. Unfortunately if we have no music you won’t be able to dance 💚🖤
