Great day today!
My heart is full and thankful for all the things I'm learning as a new artist, for the opportunity to share my love for creating, the lovely new souls I'm meeting, and mostly for (time and time again) the unconditional love and support from my family and friends. It doesn't matter if its just one of you or 10 of you, but everytime I see you guys show up and support me it literally means the world.

Very VERY special shout out and thank you to my Parents, siblings, and boyfriend. When you help me set up, carry paintings or even advertise me to your own friends or coworkers I feel so lucky to have you guys. I love you🦋

Note: I love seeing my paintings transform! This one started off with just bubbles of gray pink and blue. I liked the cool toned shimmer it had, and even though I looked at it from 1000 different angles, it just didn't feel finished to me. So, I decided to make it a part of my Galactic Collection. There will be more of these to come!

Note:  I wanted to see if the distorted effect could be recreated on a smaller canvas, since the larger version allowed for more room to...well...distort...and to my surprise it worked! Its super trippy and stuff. I love the sharp edges 💥

Note:  My sister helped make this one! I am truly shocked that I still have it, because it is sooo stunning. It reminds me of an elegant version of the old school sound wave animators you would see when playing music on your PC. Good times! 

Anyway, this piece would be great for decorating a bedroom, next to posters or a tapestry. Or even propped up next to a candle!

Note:

I will never get tired of saying it: these Acrylic Pours are ONE OF A KIND! And it kind of teaches us a little about life too. You could try to do something the same way twice or even try to really control a situation, but it often doesn't occur as one plans. I poured this as a rainbow, and again its so different and unique compared to the others. So vibrant and happy 🙂

So thankful for the opportunity and support of staff and residents at Alden Northmoor!!

Note: Do you ever feel very indecisive? Well this is exactly how I felt making this one. My vision for it was WAY different but somehow the indecisiveness is what completed the piece for me: two perpendicular lines full of the colors that also form part of the background. It is pretty cool thinking back on it.

Note: This one... What can I say? Sometimes you create something, and its hard to part ways with it. So why part? Haha

No but really, "Psychedelic Dream" has been one of those I just must keep. You can see movement in every inch of this piece. Its so bright and like I said this is part of a series of paintings I made using the same color scheme but none will ever be exactly alike.
