As we are gearing up for the first WIFA Open Water Tournament of the spring this upcoming Sunday, April 2nd --- the 'Eyes on the Fox HS Walleye Tournament --- we'd like to make a huge shout out to the sponsors of that event! We have a great prize list for the student teams and a few for the boat captains fishing as well!

We had quite the winter this year. The team competed in a few ice fishing tournaments and had our State Ice Fishing Championship canceled due to ice conditions.
Three boats will be representing Owen Withee this weekend in our first open water tournament of the year on the Fox River in De Pere, WI.

Saturday we took 4 teams to Marinette, WI for another tournament. We found a couple walleyes, suckers, rock bass, and even battled a 5-6ft sturgeon. It was a cold and wet day but the team had a fun time fishing a new body of water.

This weekend the team competed in the ‘Eyes on the Fox tournament in De Pere, WI.
The team took 5 boats to the tournament and we all had a tough time catching fish. We battled the cold, rain, snow, and wind.
Our next tournament is April 30th in Marinette, WI.

The purpose of the club is to educate young anglers about the sport as well as to get them fishing.
We are a member of the Wisconsin Interscholastic Fishing Association. As a club we will be fishing in tournaments locally as well as around the state.
