I spent 2 days climbing both sides of ’Going to the Sun’ road through Glacier National Park. I had hoped to climb over the top and coast down the west side but the top section was still closed for ice removal, so I joined the dots by cycling up both sides. All the same it was absolutely stunning Scenery - sharp cut peaks chiseled out by millions of years of glacier action , raging rivers and pacific north west style forests. This was the 5th and last time that I cross the Rockies , now heading west towards the finish point.

Today was game of two halves - 40miles , wet, cool and a SE wind from behind. The second 40miles cloudless sky, 90degrees and a strong NW into my face 😎. We’ve been under a tornado watch for most of the afternoon and this storm cell didn’t ease the worry . This is a time-lapse but I’ve never seen a cloud system so electrically charged. Luckily it ran south of us.😳 ⚡️
