*TRUE LEADERSHIP: VALENTINE OZIGBO'S LETTER TO THE YOUTH*
Dear Nigerian Youth,
I am proud of you, and I stand with you as you stand together, peacefully, to get your voices heard on the troubling matter of police brutality in our country.
I salute your courage as you continue to call for our leaders to reform an institution that no longer serves the Nigerian public well.
I have spent the past few years meeting with thousands of youths, particularly in my home state of Anambra, and I have heard the most heartbreaking stories of encounters with SARS.
I am proud of you for unleashing your youthful energy and power in calling for and .
The positive transformation your collective voices have achieved in the last few weeks demonstrates that you can create the great future of this country if you unite behind a cause greater than one person, speak with one voice, and don't give up.
With you, our greatness as a country is inevitable.
Flashback to some quotes from Valentine Ozigbo’s address to the youths during the 2020 International Youth Day.
Many of these quotes are a depiction of what the youths are doing with the movement.
Let’s make good governance and a culture of giving back common place in Anambra State.
Nigerian leaders must back up the creative and youthful energies of our youth with the right policies and funding - Valentine Ozigbo
More often than not, Nigerian leaders become victims of making promises that they know will never be fulfilled. This unwholesome habit can only breed a people who are habitually disappointed and unsatisfied - VCO.
As a village boy, I take great pride in Igbo culture and hold our traditional leaders in high esteem - VCO

Youths and children should not be told they are the leaders of tomorrow. They are the leaders of NOW and should be treated as such.
For cheap political points, we often time resort to mudslinging and image smearing.
This is not the VCO way. We must always remember that we were Ndi Anambra before we became politicians.

The prayers of our spiritual fathers serve as a guiding light 💡. May God keep them for us.
We can do even more than our imagination suggests if we eschew bitterness and entrench the culture of continuous improvement and cooperation - VCO.

Happy 29th Anniversary, Anambra
Twenty-nine years ago, my beloved state of Anambra was created from the Old Anambra State which included what is now Enugu State.
I congratulate the entire Ndi Anambra on this ocassion and celebrate our unfolding greatness. As I said in a statement to the press this morning, we have always been an embodiment of the motto of the state and have repeatedly proven to be the light of the nation in whatever field they find themselves.
In business, sports, education, and the arts, the people of Anambra have proven to be trailblazers, setting the pace and setting standards wherever they find themselves.
The many illustrious sons and daughters of Ndi Anambra who have recorded landmark achievements both home and abroad indicate that we are doing something right.
To step into the next level of our unfolding greatness, we must imbibe the culture of excellence and the philosophy of continuous improvement from the grassroots and classrooms.
Worthy of commendation are the men and women who have led our state in different capacities in the past.
I commend former governors Chukwuemeka Ezeife, Chinwoke Mbadinuju, Chris Ngige, and Peter Obi for their contributions to advancing the fortunes of our dear state.
I also salute the great giants from Anambra who left a remarkable legacy in impact, courage, and service to humanity for us to follow.
Keep shining!
To touch the lives of the citizenry starts from meeting their basic needs.
Bickering is a slap on the faces of the heroes of our nascent democracy and their legacies. So instead of dwelling on the misdeeds of the past, let us celebrate the small wins while we focus on forging a new, prosperous future - VCO
Touching lives... a hallmark of the VCO brand ❤️

There is no knowing where the shoe of the ordinary man aches without walking in them. This is something I have known and practice. This is the only way the can find extraordinary solutions to the problems of ordinary people - VCO
It is important to meet the citizens where they live, regardless of the terrain. This is the only way to walk in their shoes and know where it hurts.

Nothing productive comes from dwelling on the past which has been the rhetoric for a long time. We must unite PDP and Anambra for the greater good and this cannot happen if we are fixated on the past - VCO
.
2021 PDP Gubernatorial aspirant, Valentine Chineto Ozigbo would be a guest on the “Little Drops talk show on Odenigbo FM, Obosi TODAY, Sunday, August 23, 2020.
Time is 5pm.
Don’t miss it. 😉
When we understand the way the universe works, giving becomes a lifestyle.
In the past, PDP in Anambra has suffered from lack of unity. We have seen candidates win primary elections and other aspirants decide to decamp or not throw their support behind the party’s candidate.
If we are to make any progress as a political entity, we must change this trend and this must start in 2021.
As a village boy, I fully understand what it means to not have everything I need at my disposal, this is why I started the Valentine Chineto Ozigbo Foundation - to create lasting impact in the lives of people who ordinarily do not have the things they long for - VCO
At every stop, we have received overwhelming support from the people of Anambra state. This is a strong indication that we are doing the right thing and this project has God’s approval - VCO
In the coming months, we will focus on actual issues bedeviling Ndi Anambra. We will approach politics from an elevated standpoint, not the regular politics that does not prioritize pressing issues, but looks to malign and divide. - VCO
.
I have visited all 21 Local Government Areas of Anambra State twice because I understand the need to feel the pulse of the people, to have a first-hand experience of the issues bothering them. This way we can begin to ideate practical solutions - VCO
