Since 2021, heat-related deaths in Arizona have nearly doubled due to rising temperatures. In response, our team is taking action. This summer, we're donating 20 cases of water bi-weekly to cooling centers across the valley. These cooling stations serve as essential refuges for vulnerable populations, such as the elderly, homeless, and those without access to air conditioning.
Access to clean water can save lives during these scorching summer months. Tap the link below for an interactive map of Arizona's cooling centers and share it with your community! Let's keep Arizona safe and hydrated.

This March, we achieved a significant milestone in our continued dedication to making a positive impact in the communities we serve through increasing health equity. In collaboration with The Obodo Collective and Roseman University Genesis, we hosted the first Sunset Supper, a community health event offering a rich experience of a farm to table dinner, storytelling, sound healing, and a range of health screenings and education to help empower our members with better health practices.
The event unfolded at the Obodo Urban Farm, located in the historic Westside neighborhood of Las Vegas, where community members gathered for a three-course farm-to-table meal that highlighted the importance of healthy, fresh, local food prepared with care by Urban Farmer and Chef Cheyenne Kyle of the Obodo Collective.
The evening’s activities included social, interactive experiences, each designed to encourage a sense of community and individual well-being. We had the honor of Hosting Claytee D. White from UNLV, who spoke on the power of storytelling. Chef Stacey Dugan was also onsite for live demonstrations on preparing healthy, plant-based meals. Our team from Arkos Health was present to conduct essential health screenings, including blood pressure checks, and shared educational information on diet and nutrition with attendees. The event drew to a close with a live sound healing session led by Tiffany Ward, marking a soothing and peaceful end to an evening dedicated to enjoyment and healing.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Cheyenne Kyle, as well as all our partners, the incredible Las Vegas Arkos team, and all participants for making this event a wonderful experience of healthy community engagement and connection.
