Our row in the new Perkins Fields Grandstands is secure and in a perfect position to watch the Dogs for years to come!!!!! Thanks to The Perkins Field Committee for all they are doing and to all of those who donated to the cause!!!

Thanks to the Class of 1983!!! Our fundraising efforts have been successful and we are delivering the $1500 to the Perkins Field Committee as pledged! Class of 1983 Row has been achieved!

Dear Members of the Bridgeport Class of 1983,
Recently, we were notified that there is a project coming together to reestablish Perkins Field as the Home of the Bridgeport Bulldogs! In order for players, fans, and activities to return to the field, there has been a fundraising group established, who will collect funds to cover the costs of a portable or mobile concession trailer and a new sign for the main gate. They are also offering the ability to sponsor rows of seating in the new stadium and that is where the Class of 83 comes in!
As a member of the Class of 83, we are asking for a donation that will help us secure a row of seats, which we will sponsor as a graduating class, in the new stadium. There are rows in the center of the stadium that can be sponsored for a donation of $1500.00, which is our goal. Your support is crucial in obtaining this goal.
If you are able to, we would love it if you could make a donation, at your discretion, in order to help us raise the necessary funds.
Thank you in advance for your contribution. Your donation will go toward the Class of 83 being able to sponsor a row of seats in the new stadium at Perkins Field.

Classmates,
The BHS Class Officers and others met last night to discuss our involvement in the Perkins Field Committee’s request to “Sponsor a row” in the new grandstands for the Class of 1983. Many of our classmates have reached out to see if we were going to be involved as a Class. Your class officers have a plan to get a letter out to all classmates soliciting your support in raising funds for a $1500 row for the Class of 83. Please be on the lookout for an email communication or social media communication in the coming days. We will collect all donations for the Class of 83 and have pledged our commitment to the Perkins Field Committee. Thanks to those who nudged us and hope that everyone can support our class’ pledge in some way. Hope you are all safe and healthy during this pandemic and reminder, we are less than 3 years away from our 40th Class reunion.

Wanted to get a note out so that you didn't send your donations directly to the Perkins Field Committee per the Alumni Assoc mailing. More to come soon!
