Registration is now open through September 10th for the 2024 Texas 4-H Rabbit Extravaganza! π° The event will be held September 14th in Belton. This is a great opportunity for those students wanting to get started in the Rabbit project to learn, have fun, and get started. At the August Lone Star Series Show in Gonzales, Texas Mack won Breed Champion Red Brahman, Reserve American Division Champion and Reserve Supreme Champion. Great work!! π

Today, three of our fantastic HH4Hers participated in the South Texas Cattleman Roundup and Driscoll Children's Hospital Fundraiser. Ally Echartea, Sophia Arellano, and Cecilia DiLascio supported the Fundraiser. Over $50,000 was raised for the new Driscoll Children's Hospital in Edinburg. These young ladies did outstanding work representing HH4H.

Good News Tuesday, our Southern Exposures Youth Nature Photo Contest has been EXTENDED! The photo contest deadline has been extended to Friday, August 2 at 9PM!
We are looking for striking color images of natureβon land or in the air. These images may show animal behavior, portraits of wildlife in natural habitats, plant life, natural landscapes, or patterns in nature.
All photographs must have been taken by the contestant. Photographers are allowed to submit up to six (6) photos which must be nature-related. Pictures may be of any aspect of nature within the eight (8) counties of South Texas: Brooks, Cameron, Hidalgo, Jim Hogg, Kenedy, Starr, Willacy, and Zapata.
