Meet Mark Hutson, a senior here at UW. Mark is a Biomedical Engineering major. Mark is from Middleton, WI. Some of Mark’s favorites things about Triangle is the great friendships and meaningful connections. It’s an environment where people want you to succeed. Some of his favorite memories from Triangle is camping with the brothers at Devils Lake, hiking the bluffs, and hanging out on the beach. Not to mention the Luau social we held in a previous semester.
Outside of Triangle Mark is involved in Club Ultimate Frisbee. Some of his hobbies include: Frisbee, Crosswords, and Sailing. After college Mark plans on finding a job in the industry then building some finances to eventually travel around.

Meet Alex Shipe a Junior here at UW. Alex is a Genetics major. He is from Washington DC. Some of his favorite things about Triangle include: the brotherhood and personal growth that can be achieved here at Triangle. Some of his favorite memories in Triangle was when we hosted the Illinois chapter over for a gameday weekend. Alex has notably served as President, philanthropy, recruitment and alumni relations. Outside of Triangle Alex is involved with Doctors Without Borders, genetics research lab, and Appalachia Service Project. Some of his hobbies are skiing and playing lacrosse. After college, Alex plans on attending medical school and completing a surgery residency. We’re so proud of everything you’ve done for us here at Triangle.

This is Elliott St. Amour a Junior here at UW. Elliott is currently a Civil Engineering major. He is from Wauwatosa, WI (a suburb of Milwaukee). Elliott’s favorite thing about Triangle is spending time in the living room with the boys, there is always something interesting going on there. His favorite memory at triangle was the 2020 camping trip and every brotherhood week. Outside of Triangle Elliott is in the general university orchestra and like taking ancient history classes for fun while completing classes for my major. Some of his hobbies include swimming, reading, gaming, social drinking, arguing, and generally being loud. Elliott has served as Vice President- External here at Triangle for the past year. After college, Elliott plans on hopefully get either a construction management or structural engineering job upon graduation, preferably in the Midwest or east coast. We’re so proud of everything you’ve done so far Elliott.
At the time of posting this, Elliott has informed us that he will be studying abroad in Budapest! Congratulations Elliott

This is Anthony McCann a senior here at UW. Anthony has many majors including: Astrophysics, Economics with math emphasis, Philosophy, Physics and Sociology with a Math certificate. Anthony is from Middleton, WI, which is right outside Madison. His favorite thing about Triangle is the people, and just being able to honestly connect with everyone in the fraternity. Some of his favorite memories include: just watching TV in the living room with the brothers which allowed for their stress to be washed away in each other’s company. Outside of Triangle Anthony works for UW in one of the libraries. Some of his hobbies are, reading, playing video games, and collecting magic the gathering cards. Anthony has served on IFC as VP of Operations and has been Treasurer many times here. Once Anthony is done with his degree, he plans on working in industry for a few years and then go for his PHD. We’re so proud of all you have accomplished in your time here !!

This is Ethan Rocha a senior here at UW. Ethan is a chemical engineering major. After graduation, Ethan plans on doing product development research! Ethan is from Franklin, Wisconsin. Ethan’s favorite thing about Triangle is the academic support that Triangle brings our brothers. Ethan’s favorite college memory from being here at UW is the late night studying at the Engineering Centers Building. Outside of Triangle, Ethan has volunteered for the STEM immersion program. Some of Ethan’s hobbies include cooking and just hanging out with the brothers.

This week we’re taking a look at Erik Svetin. Erik a senior here at UW studying Mechanical Engineering major and plans on getting his masters. He is from Kaunakakai, Hawaii of the island Molokai. Erik’s favorite things about Triangle are the tailgates during the fall, and the Intramurals we compete in through UW. As far as his favorite memories in college, it would have to be the Michigan vs Wisconsin game in 2019. During his free time Erik has worked as a math tutor for classes through UW or high schools. Erik’s hobbies include hanging out with the brothers, playing or watching sports, and skiing. Erik stated that “joining Triangle has introduced me to a close brotherhood that I was searching for when I transferred to Madison.”
At the time of posting this, Erik was accepted to UW to get his accelerated masters! We’re so proud of you Erik!
So glad we were able to hold such a large event with our friends Alpha Omega Epsilon !! Hope to have many more events like this !
