BALTHVS
Isolation and the mountains are a perfect combination to make music. Retreating in early 2020 to a barn in the Andes in Central Colombia, BALTHVS crafted a unique sound only possible in the digital age, where it is possible to go from modern R&B to vintage psychedelic tunes of the middle east in a second. Amassing a huge swath of influences, ranging from 80's dub reggae, psychedelic turkish funk, 70's soul, traditional music from Ethiopia, China and 90's hip hop beats, this Colombian trio has crafted a unique, worldy sound within the physical and aural limits of guitar, bass, drums and vocals. Being a band born through the rise of a pandemic, isolation and digital sharing has been the foundation and it's approach to it's fans. Notwithstanding this is a live act, honing it's craft every day and just waiting for the right moment to bring a powerful and emotional musical experience to casual listeners and music connoisseurs from all over the world.
