hey it’s Stephanie (or steph! ) , in case the username didn’t give it away 😉 For those that are new - I’m the one running this thing! Everything from photography, editing, marketing, etc. it truly is a one woman show ✨

I’ve been doing photography since 2014 after taking a class in high school! I got super into it and decided my senior year of high school I was gonna study it in college. Flash forward to 2021 and I was about to transfer and get my bachelors degree but ended up going full time instead (it’s a long story about lost papers and too many details to go into). I really just jumped and haven’t looked back. I’ve been full time for a year now and have learned so much in this year. I enjoy every second of it (even the downfalls and slow times) because I’ve worked so hard to get here. Im actually in the process of writing out all about my experience and tips and advice if you’re thinking of making a career from your photography, stay tuned 🤍

✨ also wanted to say thank you to everyone that supports me - whether you’ve booked a shoot with me, told your friends about me, gave some moral support, etc. it means the world to me ✨

A few fun facts about me:
1. My favorite food is sushi and Taco Bell
2. My two favorite colors are lavender purple and sage green
3. I have a cat jelly bean and she’s my baby
4. I love watching thrillers and sit coms. My favorites are haunting of hill house, shameless, Gilmore girls, and parks and rec
5. I have 4 sisters (yes , 4!) We range from 25 - 2 🤪

I’ve been dying to share these and am so excited to finally have them edited and able to post them.

This shoot was from a test shoot about a month ago. We did 3 different concepts & 4 looks. This one was my favorite by far because of the messages that went with it.

It feels like a two fold message for me -
1. The concept was “plastic”. We were originally debating doing this concept in a studio or outdoors and I thought doing it by water could send a message of how much pollution happens and how much plastic ends up in our waters and suffocates the animals while Katie is “suffocated” by the plastic

2. I also thought Emilia’s idea of making a dress out of the Saran Wrap could emphasize society’s pressure towards women to fit into a certain standard & how their standards can suffocate us. We’re told our whole lives what to wear, what not wear, what to eat , what not to eat, etc etc etc. It’s a toxic environment just like plastic is.
